We had a day date and headed Straight to Carvor’s for our first ever Stone Crab!! Everything we had(Medium and Large Stone Crab & Shrimp Ceviche)was absolutely to die for!! The atmosphere was incredible!! They were even so kind to bring my little girl out a bowl of ice water. We will definitely be back!!

Florida seafood at its finest! I am a Florida native and so, I am very picky when it comes to seafood period. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this place is! I got the sampler basket because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. To say it was incredibly tasty and delicious would be an understatement. Typically fried seafood is bland with no flavor and overcooked. Kiss the chef for me! They cooked it perfectly! So full of flavor and the batter is perfect and light. Not cooked in old oil and soggy from the oil. You can taste the freshness of the seafood in every bite. The fries and coleslaw were on point as well. The shrimp and scallops are huge so good! And my husband loved the local rule #7 beer! you know, you know
😉I highly recommend this place if you want authentic fresh seafood. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable and gives you the old Florida feels. We will definitely be back.

Everything was OK. Tuna appetizer was drenched in a mayo-based sauce. Cucumber salad was tasty. Sandwich and ceviche was not special. ‘Key lime’-type bar was pretty good. For informal counter service, a little pricey.

I had the fried shrimp basket with potato salad. The shrimp were lightly battered and cooked perfectly and the potato salad was really good. I'm picky about potato salad, this is a southern style with crunchy fresh bits of celery or onion. Really liked it.
My friend got the blackened Grouper sandwich and really liked it. Food came out pretty quickly.
Can't wait to come back and try the taco's.

However, there was no sign that we saw saying we had to order inside so we sat at a table for several minutes before realizing they weren't coming to take our order.

Outdoor seating only, nice peaceful setting. It's late July, very hot out and we sat on the "porch" with a fan blowing which made it tolerable, I never felt uncomfortable.

No parking at the restaurant but free parking across the street in the lot or the parking garage.

*2nd visit I got the grilled Trout. Very tasty. The most mild fish I ever had with a little bit of wood grilled flavor.

Sooo Carvor's Fish House was an unexpected delight! We stumbled upon this hidden gem and decided to give it a try based on the menu - and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious, and the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The outdoor seating was all covered and added to the laid-back atmosphere.

Here's what we ordered:

Crab Cake Sandwich = The crab cake was perfectly fried and tasted amazing!

Ahi Tuna Fish Sandwich = So yummy, we could hardly believe it!

Seafood Sampler = Of all the delicious options, the fish was the standout winner.

Cucumber, Tomato, and Onion Pasta = This dish was great, but we recommend trying it without the pasta for an even lighter option.

We'll definitely be returning to Carvor's Fish House!

Finally made it here! I’ve had it on my list for several years and I’m so glad we finally tried it.
Cute little restaurant right next to Jensen’s Fish Market (same owners).
Very clean, cute decor with all outdoor or front porch seating.
Everything in the case at Carvor’s and on the menu sounded delicious.
We started with the Mahi based fish spread that had a really clean and light flavor.
Next I had the yummy shrimp and crab salad (think light mayo base with old bay seasoning) sandwich on a toasted onion roll with provolone, lettuce and tomato. The Quality of the seafood was very fresh💕
For choice of side, I went with the onion rings. Light, crispy and slightly sweet batter: very tasty especially once I added salt.
My husband had the crispy fried grouper nuggets with delicious fries and for his side he picked the delicious hush puppies (tasted like a creamy sweet corn filling).
Nice service and the to go items in the case looked amazing. A great way to pick up lunch, dinner or a picnic in the park feast. We’ll definitely be back!
