We walked into an empty dining room except for two tables. After a few minutes of waiting, one of the guests came over and advised us that they nearly walked out waiting to be seated. When the did appear from the kitchen, she said she would get us a table and went over to collect payment from one of the tables. We just sat down. The menu has a good variety of choices. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork tacos. The food came out quickly and tasted decent. This could be a nice restaurant in a great location but if they don’t step up their game, it won’t last long.

So this place just opened up after a long period of renovations. I didn't expect MUCH, BUT was I surprised. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The decor and seating areas really nice and clean. What I wasn't expecting was how good the food was and the decent portions. Their selection of beer is great and priced from $7-$12 a pint and their drink menu runs $9- $14 per drink. I'd say overall average price. There wasn't much time from order to arrival of our food. We didn't get to sit at the bar, but it looks like it will be a fantastic spot to watch all up coming sports events. This might become my future go to spot

Tuesday night around 6:30PM. Two gentlemen at the bar, one family seated at a table half way through there meal, and us. One more couple came in while we ate. Our server was pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the offerings. The truffle poutine was an fresh take on a classic. The 'silver dollar sized' curly potatoes are just the right thickness to have a good crust and still be 'soft' inside. The ribeye press sandwich was ok, but the meat was certainly a restaurant grade cut with not a whole lot of flavor. The Ahi Crunch salad was a good portion, and the tuna was 'non-pier side' restaurant fresh tasting. The greens in the salad were above average.

Just WOW! Lisa gave us the best service & it was awesome to meet the manager & one of the owners.. the food was delicious, we went in for a snack & drinks, but the sharables are huge. The putine was my favorite, plus the drinks were great & it's cool that they change the drink menu weekly. They were super fast with everything, and I'm excited to go back! Thank you guys - congratulations & good luck with business! đŸ”„

4-Stars

If you've noticed, I always try to add a seafood dish and a meat dish to my orders. That way I can get a balance of their fare and can toss that info along to my protein limited followers. Believe it or not, writing positive reviews is actually more difficult than negative reviews as there are only so many synonyms in the thesaurus. Don't misunderstand me, I would much rather struggle with some diction than bash a place. It is what it is.

Walking into AJ's Lager House in Melbourne, I immediately noticed the spacing, lighting and cleanliness of the place. With the word “Lager” in your name, I half expected to be greeted by the mawkish smell of warm beer upon crossing the threshold. I am happy to say, this was not the case. Ian is our waiter today and has so much personality it's almost overwhelming. Neil Young's song, “Like a Hurricane” came to mind when ordering. He did a fantastic job and was Johnny on the spot for the entire service. Well done, Ian! I asked Ian for one Tuna Poke Bowl and one Ribeye Press Sandwich.

Ian returned shortly with my order and after taking the required pics for your viewing pleasure, I commenced the job at hand...stuffing my pie hole. First up today was the Tuna Poke Bowl. This Hawaiian staple has swept across the country within the past decade or so with Poke joints popping up all over the country. As long as the ingredients are fresh, you really can't go wrong with a bowl of raw fish, toppings and rice. In this case, the Tuna was fresh Ahi deliciously marinated in what I can only surmise is a Polynesian-influenced concoction, pickled vegetables, nori, sesame seeds, scallions, sriracha aioli and wasabi aioli. Aioli. It's gotta be the aioli that set this apart from the competition. Superb!

Forcing myself to disengage from the bait bowl, I turned my palate toward the Ribeye Press. This is AJ's take on the ever-popular Panini sandwich from Italy. This was one hell of a sandwich. Made with an Angus ribeye, bourbon-glazed onions, Swiss, garlic aioli, and a dab of horseradish cream served on a pressed Cubano this was all flavor and then some. If the meat was prime, not choice, this could be a 5-star review. It's that good.

The Big Boy says, “If you're in the mood for some fine, causal pub food, this is the place.” Not sure why ratings are lower the food here is above average for Brevard.

Considering they just opened I will do this review now and update it when we try again.

We ordered deviled eggs as an app. OUT of eggs. So we ordered the pretzel as an app. For entree we ordered a burger , no onion or pickle. Came with onion and pickle. Shrimp Alfredo and fried chicken. Alfredo was very salty and bland fried chicken was not crispy more of a breaded consistency. We did have to ask the waitress to remove the eggs off the bill she also removed the burger đŸ€·â€â™€ïž
We will go back after a few months open. More outside lighting would probably help customers know they are open. Or some balloons out front for attention

I feel like this place has the potential to be amazing, but it's just missing the mark. The exterior of the building is a little lack luster. The inside however, is super cute! I was plesantly surprise when I walked inside. Service was pretty slow. We ordered the chicken tinga nachos, Mahi wonton taco, and fish & chips. It took awhile for our waiter to come back and take our dinner our after placing our appetizer order.
The Mahi tacos weren't bad, but nothing to write home about. They came with a side of beans. The beans just seemed like an after thought and didn't taste like much. The cilantro lime sauce on the tacos and nachos was amazing! I could put it in everything. The tacos were dripping a lot of liquid probably from the pickled slaw that was on them. Aside from the lime sauce they didn't have much flavor. They did have a cool idea with placing them inside of wonton shells though.
My boyfriend ordered the fish and chips and the fish was pretty mushy and the coleslaw wasn't very good at all.
The nachos were pretty good. Again the nachos were on top of wonton chips. It gave it a little something extra.
I also feel like the printed menu didn't have much effort behind it. Half of it is blurry and a little hard to read. The drink menu is on printed computer paper stapled together. It also felt a little pricey for the food received.
Unfortunately, I feel like this was a one and done for us.
The menu has the potential to be awesome... the restaurant is just missing some thing that could make it great.

The good, food tasted pretty good. I had the chicken sandwich. Very tasty.
The bad, smallest piece of chicken I have ever received on a sandwich. All bun no chicken. Turns out chicken is an important ingredient for a chicken sandwich. Literally a breast cut in half on the short side. Check
corner cut and money saved. At approximately $16 I expected better.
