Have lunch there and was impressed by the set up including the layout of the place, cutlery and the cloth napkin. Service was good except after all the dishes has been served and the waiting staff didn't pay much attention to the table and hence did not too up the glass of water. The set lunch is good and reasonably priced. The wagyu on the other hand is pricey and did not really live up to the price. Overall is still a pleasurable experience. Recommended.

Food was ok. I would say it’s more like a “textbook” or “recipe” book cooking style which was very safe, nothing will go wrong, date not to be creative and go without own style kind of cooking and taste.
Ambience of the restaurant gave me the vibes from Jack’s place with mixed of Denny’s/checkers restaurant.
Staffs are friendly.
But why i gave only 3 stars, it’s simply due to overpriced charged for the cooking explained above.

Came here with a group of close friends last Fri. The lady staff (I think her name is Ah Beau) who served us was very cheerful, polite and patient as we took time to decide our orders. Knowing that we were there to celebrate an Anniversary, the staff surprised us with an extra slice of cake with the words “Happy Anniversary” written on the plate😊. Thoughtful and exceptional service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. While prices were not the cheapest, food portions were adequate. All round, we had the most pleasant time!

Came for dinner with my friend and was glad that I selected Angus House. The food standard is still consistent after all these years, and the service was excellent.
This place is highly recommended over those more well known steak house from US.

Angus Steakhouse has been my family’s favourite steak place for > 10 years so we were quite familiar with the quality of the food. We ordered 2 set dinners this evening and were pleasantly surprised by the grilled salmon (starter) served. The salmon skin was crispy and the salmon done to perfection, moist and tender. Previously the starter was a fish or chicken dish which was quite forgettable. This was followed by a crab bisque which was delicious with their bread and butter served. However, we were quite surprised by the ribeyes served. One was medium and the other medium rare. Both were not as tender as they used to be. The doneness seemed right but most part of the ribeyes were chewy and not tender. Not sure why but could they have changed the beef supplied? We were quite disappointed as the prices have gone up after Covid. But thankfully the dessert (tiramisu) was still as good. I guess we’ll be trying other places next time.

Really really delicious steak that was served on a hot plate; juicy, tender and oh so yummy, the taste and texture were both at its best. It was oozing with juice and perfectly cooked, served with equally impeccable sides by very polite and friendly wait staff.

Soup was amazing too, bread served was unforgettable, escargots were so tasty and there was a nice view too as I was given a window seat. Salad was fresh and cake to top off the meal was good. No complains and will definitely be back!

Compared to most other steak house
This is a no frills, down to earth, family restaurant lookalike steak place.
The steak is pretty decent but the price is kinda high. For a little more, you can get a decent steak in Morton's.

All in all a good experience dining here .
The service is pretty decent too.
