This is my go to breakfast place by far! I have been coming here for years but recently a lot more often and every time it’s great! The customer service is amazing as well as the atmosphere. My go too are definitely the nutella crepes or the country skillet. Their soups and pancakes are also amazing. 10/10 would recommend checkers!

We had a very fun plan for our weekend and choosing this place was definitely a good option. They were very kind when they welcomed us and naturally offered the options. Regarding the food, we ordered delicious veeggi ommelets. I recommend it, it is a casual place and a good option for lunch. So thank you because we continued our morning in a very good mood after this lunch.

The restaurant is in a good location and has plenty of parking. We arrived close to closing time but we were not going to take long so we came in and we were welcomed. We sat and right away we were offered coffee and water. The menu is made of paper and had a coffee stain so i wished they had something more clean.
Ordered omelets since it seemed like a good choice. The order came in fast and the food tasted good, not salty and I like that a lot, but a bit greasy. The salsa bottle on the table has salsa around so it was not cleaned and I wished it was. As for the service, I liked it, our server did come around and was wearing a face covering so I liked that she was careful.
The place is big and they do offer outdoor seating, at the time I got there, the area was closed because it was late but I liked that. They offer free parking and it is a big lot.
Perhaps we came in at the end of the day so maybe that's the reason it was an OK experience. I did like their menu so perhaps next time it will be a better experience.

Like the place, food is pretty good, and generally speaking the service is good too. Our most recent visit, however, was quite disappointing. We arrived one hour and 15 minutes before closing time. The service was not so good. Waitress never asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks or anything else. An hour before closing time, someone started mopping floors so we had to eat our lunch while inhaling a strong odor of floor cleaner. Then they must have been cleaning the bathroom because we started smelling bathroom cleaner. Then that same person started vacuuming around us while we were eating, which was not appreciated. There was a lot of yelling going on in the back. The waitress was in a big hurry to get us out of there, although the restaurant was still open for another half hour. Not a relaxing way to enjoy a meal at all. By the time we left, we felt very unwelcome and like we were being pushed out of the place. We may or may not go back, but if we do, it sure won't be less than two hours before closing time.

Checkers has a classic diner atmosphere. Our server was kind and attentive. I had the buttermilk pancakes with blueberry syrup. The batter was a little dense for my liking, but I still thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The bacon was thick and the poached eggs cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms tidy. I enjoyed my visit to Checkers.

Good breakfast and delicious too was only but a couple of tables occupied when we got there I had Belgium waffle with peaches side of cool whip my husband had 1 egg , sausage patty, side of fruit and pancakes all was very yummy very friendly staff we were greeted with a hello and good morning when we walked in also our waitress said good morning. I liked the soft sound of guitar playing as we’re eating our food

Food:
Decent food, not the very best in town. Some of the dishes may be good, we tried soup (which was very nice), egg Florentine and checkers special. All in all food was decent and inexpensive.
Server:
our server was really nice and friendly, service was also quick and server was very informative about the menu.
Ambiance:
Nice and spacious breakfast/brunch place, ample amount of parking available.
