Washers and dryers have been down for two years since I’ve lived here, elevator always down dirty stairways that people pee in, knee high grass, furniture outside that need to be thrown away, we’ve had three property management agencies over the last two years, everybody’s rent is a different price, they advertise three bedrooms and we don’t have those, the elevator is always down, half of the residents park on a gravel lot, the office is only open two days a week, the communication with the property management sucks, I filed a tenant complaint against them with the state, we’re only paying $1250 because of distance to downtown, nothing else. They lost my rent money for the month of October then found it along with my transfer fee and still left and eviction notice on my door after I paid them $2483 between the month of October and now November. We now have cicadas in the lobby that James Hunter the new property manager, says he can’t sweep up except when he’s there on Tuesdays even though they pay people to clean the building, we pay for pest control but the building has roaches, and per the word words of JAMES HUNTER himself, “The building is only open on Tuesday from 9-5.” The google hours are incorrect and the website is incorrect. When I asked to speak to someone higher than him he said no one else was there and hung up so, I called the Regional Vice President because residents are paying for services that we ARE NOT receiving.

Looking for a safe affordable place isn’t ,to someone disrespect you and attempt to treat a potential tenant like trash is unacceptable. I spoke with James Hunter from RPMLIVING. He ignores calls, is disrespectful and extremely condescending. Here’s what happened
I have been reaching out to the Cobb house for months! I left several messages no one returned my call until MONTHS later it was (James )because I was still looking I took the call. Things happen I understand. Once we spoke he told me we could meet on a Saturday so I can see the apartment because the weekend is my only availability.I did my part applied , pay the fees and gave the information. NO ONE CONTACTED ME . I then followed up several times, was hung up on , then he finally responded with a text asking for my paycheck stubs without wanting to show me the space . I asked him can you please show me the space before I send anything else over . He started becoming disrespectful saying it was out of his scope to meet me on a Saturday after he already committed to it . He then told me I already have your name, address and social security number so why not send me more information without seeing the apartment. He said his supervisor wanted to know why we hadn’t proceeded with the paperwork and for me to send my stubs right now and RAISED HIS VOICE at me . The threatened me by taking my application out of the system putting the apartment ( I NEVER SAW ) back on the market and me loosing my application fee of $53.00 if I didn’t send my stubs. He told me you’ll have to reapply if you don’t send it now .

BE CAREFUL PEOPLE

I lived here back in 2006-2007. The rent for a studio was $400, all utilities included. I was a 25 yr old college student at york tech making 10.50 hr at the time so it was perfect for me. I didn't have any issues with it and never had issues with anyone while living there. This was akso when it was still owned by a polish family vut I believe the building has new owners now.

Honestly my boyfriends dad stays in these apartments to which he has no legs and needs help around the apartment, well he can’t shower or bath due to the tub being clogged and fill up with dirty water , roachs like crazy , and he says pest control hasn’t came monthly like suppose to . How is he suppose to be clean and live in this environment if nothing can be fixed . It’s sad cause he really can’t get anywhere around cause the elevator breaks from time to time

I am disabled. I called . I asked if they had low income housing and before I got to explain she said "no" and hung up on me. I called back and was sent to voicemail. Very good experience!!! Everyone should call and get hung up on.

Really nasty and they're a lot of crack heads and alcoholics live there. The place is kept very very nasty. I wouldn't want to live there. I rather sleep in my car if that was the only place to live.

Very unprofessional and unorganized staff. I applied and reached out multiple times via phone/email and did not receive a response after weeks of waiting. You definitely get what you pay for. Don't waste your time here, and search elsewhere. Would not recommend to anyone.
