The food was great...We ordered the one-person combo alongside the beef shawarma sandwich. It was really good, I did not know the one-person combo came with lentil soup. It was really good and fresh everything. They even have small handmade pies and pastries that they make. Hopefully next time when we come back which we will.

It's a really great Mediterranean restaurant in Niles. A group of people I work with every Saturday, and I order lunch from here. We order the platters, they are huge! The rice, meats, and vegetables are all perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly as well. Owners are very gracious and helpful. Great place to eat, a great place to cater from.

Always wanted to try this spot and finally did. Attempted to order through UberEats yesterday but looked like UberEats or the restaurant had to cancel because there weren't any delivery drivers around the area. Anyway, first visit today was onsite and dine-in and it was a good experience. Friendly staff and answered and suggested best deals for all patrons who came in as first-timers. My husband and I ordered the One Person Combo - one for each. Even though we dined in, I am glad the food was prepped in take-home styrofoam - I knew I was going to have leftovers. The portions were worth the $18.99 price and beats the single meat Chicken Shawarma entree (which was also $18.99). The meats were juicy and I was a fan of their Shawarma meats when I am usually a Kabob fan. Pita was homemade, large, and nicely rolled up and wrapped in plastic wrap. Their Torshi (pickled vegetables) was perfect - a bit salty for some but I enjoyed it. I wish their white sauce/tahini was a bit thicker. I really liked their red hot sauce. Best I have had for a Middle-Eastern/Mediterranean fast casual restaurant. They also had some nice baked goods that I will definitely need to try next time.

Stopped in for some take out. Got chicken kebob entree with Greek salad, hummus with a side of garlic sauce ( toum). Everything was delicious. It tastes like home cooking. The toum is the best I've ever had, please do yourself a favor and get a side of it. They were also so kind to split the order in 2 boxes so I could drop dinner off to my daughter before her High School Choir performance.

I'm originally from the Detroit area. There is incredible Middle Eastern food in nearby Dearborn. If you know you know. Even though there are many Middle Eastern spots in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs I keep looking for restaurants that come close to that high quality experience back home. This is one. We will definitely be back.

We've been enjoying Detroit Kabob house's amazingly delicious food since 2011. I can't think of a single time their food quality / freshness / quantity has disappointed us in any way shape or form.

Friendly and courteous service, fresh and scrumptiously yummy middle eastern cuisine at reasonably prices (compared to many others), what else can you ask for?

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good middle eastern food.

The food made me feel like I was eating a meal as a guest at someone's home. It feels healthy (not greasy or too salty) and very tasty. I especially liked the baba ghanoush which was smokey and rich, I put some in every bite. Also the lentil soup was good and peppery. Will be coming back! The one person combo is plenty for two.
