Rude staff/Receptionist not even smiling or giving eye contact.

The reviews are accurate.
My appointment was 3pm and we got called 4:30 pm. I am so upset because I left work 2:30pm when I am supposed to be working until 4pm.
I follow up with the receptionist because they’re about to close and we are not yet called.
The guy that came for 4pm appointment got called in first and another one. So I asked the staff, she said he’s with another doctor. And that’s bullshit. His doctor is Dr. Ho as well.

They don’t value people’s time. First and last.
Will not go back here anymore.

I have never had ruder staff. I came Friday September 13th at 8 30 am. Nobody in office. Receptionist would not look up at me. I said Good Morning twice and she rudely said good morning. I stood there 5 minutes she then said sstgive me your card I will call you. This is not first time but I need to express myself. Everytime I come here just plain rude. Nobody in the waiting room and I still waiting. We have to pay for parking . Dr Ho barely makes eye contact. This receptionist would be fired anywhere else. They don't return calls so make sure everything is correct before you leave.

Appointments are not on time. Give yourself 1.5 of wait time.

I’ve noticed ppl come after me and even say their appointment time which was after mine but they got brought in first.

People times does not seem to matter. There are ppl are there who cannot take of work and use their lunches

If this is you do not come to this office.

My appointment time was 2:20, I checked in at 2:15 and another patient comes in after me stating her app was at 2:40 and was brought in well before me with same doctor.

This does not seem to add up.

Clinic, please consider others time and do not waste it. Time is money and cannot afford to have their time wasted.

However, the Dr. Ho is great and very knowledgeable.

The waiting area itself was a little crowded but my appointment was for 3, so possibly some appointments ran behind time. I found the receptionist to be fine, I got my appointment time mixed up (thought it was for 3:30) but she still registered me (so it looks like I am on of those people who cause longer wait times, sorry). There was a lady in the waiting room who didn’t cover her nose with her mask and kept picking her nose which was disturbing. Besides that, I found dr. Ho to be very nice and attentive. She did have her laptop but it seemed more for taking notes. She asked a lot of questions and wrote down my answers to understand the situation better. Asked me about my medications and gave advise based off that as well. Overall I would say my experience was positive. I plan to book another appointment in future.

Saw this doctor at sick Kids Dermatology clinic. The consultation was done 95% by the resident, who had nice bedside manner and was very thorough. Then Dr Ho came in. She had zero bedside manner. She did not greet or acknowledge the patient or parent for the first few minutes. The whole consultation was a sort of teaching session for the resident, a very low quality one, because this doctor seemed to have difficulty articulating what she wanted to say, and also due to her arrogant and condescending attitude towards the resident and patient/parent. This doctor should not be allowed to practice, let alone teach medical students and residents.

Biggest waste of time!

What's the point of making an appointment for a specific time when at the end of the day it's first come first serve. I had an appointment at 3:00 pm and was seen at 4:30.

The secretary is rude and can't speak proper english. She yells when she talks and isn't exactly helpful.

Dr. Ho was nice but unfortunately she seemed lost and asked me such pointless questions. Like someone added in one of their reviews I too would like to acknowledge that she relies to much on her computer. She checked what I had and said it was nothing, that what I had would go away over time. Her office closes at 5 pm so at this point I think she was just rushing to finish with the other 7 or so people in that tiny waiting room.

I don't often leave reviews but I feel compelled to after my recent visit to this clinic. Firstly, like the other reviewers we had a to wait WAY too long despite having an appointment. It seems this is quite common so unless you're ok to wait at least an hour I suggest visiting another specialist. Secondly, its a small waiting room and especially during the pandemic there was no way to practise physical distancing with other patients. If they notified people they were running late and properly managed the waiting room they'd have way less people crowded into a small space.

Dr. Ho is pleasant but its not worth the wait. Take away: if you need to visit a dermatologist I'd either find someone else, or call ahead and make sure they're running on time before you arrive.

Dr. Ho is very unprofessional and the wait times to see her are ridiculous. At the end of my appointment I was told very quickly how and when to use my prescriptions and she could tell i was looking for something so I could write down the instructions. With very poor bedside manners she was leaving the office while I still had questions and needed more clarification on instructions. A few days later tried to call back because I needed her to clarify the instructions and it goes straight to their answering machine. The answering machine says they will respond in 3 business days if you leave a message. Then it says you cant leave a message because their mailbox is filled. There is no way to get in contact with their office if you cant call or leave a message. I will never go back to this dermatologist and I wish I had read the reviews before going.
