Great true Maryland seafood spot that has great views, oyster facility right next door, and also a great coffee shop and bakery literally connected, Dessert First(which is a must after your meal!)

There’s no shortage of options here as they have plenty of offerings and specials. Rockfish tacos are light, tasty and refreshing. The tuna tower is another great choice with a great balance of fresh flavors. The crab balls were good, not great, with a little too much sauce on the plate. The flounder sandwich was cooked well and fresh tasting. The seafood Norfolk is a great dish with shrimp, scallops, rockfish, and crabmeat. Broiled perfectly with just a little butter, all you need. The fish stands out on its own, fresh and flavorful. The seared scallops with “risotto” one of my favorite dishes. Scallop has a great sear and the flavors of the spinach, red pepper coulis and crab compliment very well. One minor suggestion; don’t call it risotto if you’re just going to use white rice, a bit misleading but nonetheless still delicious.
Looking forward to returning to try the crabs as we’ve seen plenty of people enjoying and raving about them.

Server Casey was really welcoming and friendly. She checked the table everytime we get something. There was nothing to request.
Also food we ordered, it was great !
Baked oyster sampler(3 different flavor), Jumbo lump crab imperial ( it was very fresh taste and lots of crab meats!) and Shrimp & Crab Alfredo! ( great option who doesn't want to mass there hands.)
Definitely I will go back and recommend to friends! Thank you for good experience in labor day weekend!

Yes, this is wonderful Maryland Style Seafood! Big open dining room, water views and history right next door at their oyster processing facility. We make a trip down just for the Friday night ACE Oyster Night - but there is just so much more coming out of that kitchen. Probably the best Maryland Crab Soup I’ve had anywhere.

We just made our 3rd trip down, and it just keeps getting better. The view and atmosphere upstairs are beautiful. Had the crab bites for the first time - incredible!

And the staff, could they be anymore friendly and welcoming!

What a fantastic restaurant! The staff was awesome. Great drinks and the food was incredible! We had the crab and shrimp ceviche and then some large and extra large crabs. They were hot, fresh and wonderful! A nice getaway for the night for a wonderful seafood dinner!

Harris Crab House! What can I say? It's my absolute FAVORITE place to be! I come every year for my birthday for the last 3 years since my husband and I stumbled across it on our way to another crab house (let's not name it 🤣)...and we haven't gone anywhere else since! We're from Philly so we make it a trip...and it's always worth every mile traveled! The blue crabs and the hushpuppies are my favorites! We love it so much I brought my international interns from Trinidad and Algeria here for their first experience with Maryland Blue Crabs and Alaskan Crab legs! Harris Crab House...💜💜💜💜

The view is beautiful. The Bloody Mary is on point. The crab soup is so good. We usually go twice a month. The Friday nights we have gone for dinner there has been live music upstairs.

Harris Crab House is a lovely treat right on the Chesapeake Bay. They do not take reservations, but we didn't have trouble getting a table for 5 people on Friday night at 5PM. We didn't have a table with a view of the bay, but there are tables that have do let diners enjoy the beautiful scenery.

We did enjoy walking on the pier connected to the restaurant after dinner, so I highly recommend doing that.

Everyone really enjoyed their food. The Fried Green Tomatoes with crab meat were bright and flavorful- delicious!

The brussels sprouts were quite tasty, the fry on the hush puppies was just right, and the same for the onion rings.

The ceviche with house-made tortilla chips was a treat, as were the snow crab legs.

The Nutty Buddy dessert is a fun conceit, but it should have been brought out even earlier than it was- we had to wait quite a long time (at least 45 minutes) for it to defrost enough to eat.

The ice cream was flavorless as a result of the flash freezing, so we wouldn't order it again.

Smith Island Cake next time!
