Pure joy with Felicia our waitress. The place is always packed because the food is delicious, fresh; and the service is efficient. Our omelets were fantastic. Can't wait to go eat there again.

Every time we drive by the place is packed and we finally decided to give it a try. The feeling is exactly in the name. When you first walk in you are welcomed to a large dining room and a display case with homemade cake. The family house is where the food is cooked with love and the service is friendly. The portions were plentiful for the price. I ordered the club sandwich and my wife ordered the stuffed shells. We will definitely be returning. Kudos!

First time there and can't wait to go back. I just wish they weren't 60 miles from home. The service was attentive and friendly. All four of us ended up getting a pasta dish and nobody was disappointed. The blue cheese and ranch dressings were fantastic. The salad was cold and crisp. If you haven't been here, make a plan to go. You won't be disappointed.

This was my first time here. I got the Chicken Pita and the chicken was super dry. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said that is what the sauce is for and asked if I wanted more sauce. Anyways would NOT recommend that dish!!! My friend had the ribs and they were wonderful. The fried mushrooms were really good.

The wait service was great, we were sat immediately and food comes out pretty quick. I would come back here to try their breakfast next time.

Didn't care for the food. Older gentleman that sat us barely spoke, then put us at a table put the menus down and said to me and my mom, "sit" and walked away. Barely even looked at us. We just looked at one another. We would have left, but we were starving and also knew he wouldn't be our actual waiter. Instead we got a beautiful young girl who was very, very nice and we really liked her. Unfortunately, I have forgotten her name, but she was a young black slim fairskin girl. She made all the difference, but we still would never patronize this place again. My mom's pork plate was so salty she didn't even eat it, and I had as a side. I had banana pudding, and that had a funny taste like maybe a sugar substitute was used. The waitress accommodated the bill, but this is not a place worth visiting 2x.

Vegetable soup is my favorite!
I order the soup with almost every meal except breakfast ....

My grandson and I say this is the best restaurant ever!

Drive thru open ... unbelievable what all you can order and drive up to window and they hand it to you!

Expanded parking lot means plenty of parking.

Drive by the parking lot any mealtime and you know it has to be good!
Locals pack the house!
Chicken tips over rice with peppers and onions and gravy, fried squash, lima beans and all one meal!

Fried squash is excellent!

You can certainly not eat it all and most people dining in leave with a heavy box and another meal!
Breakfast is a must try

Terrible experience and I am usual dine in customer .. burnt hash brown burnt toast no butter when I specifically asked for the opposite since last few times had same issue . Looking for other breakfast options in Harrisburg area .

Great place to go for home cooking when you don’t feel like cooking yourself. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The service is always great. They’ll make sure to refill your drink often. They always have specials and it’s always a nice variety. I had the marinated beef strips with rice and gravy the last time I was here and really enjoyed it. The inside isn’t dated and is kept clean. Love coming to the Family House.
