House Kitchen & Bar Coral Gables

This place do not honor the hotel is next to it. Watch my picture... Filthy seat cushion, full of dog's hair, and bread crumbs. I complained but the staff only cleaned the table. The food was average to well, but very dirty place. Service is extremely poor... I guess are students...

OK, you have to start with the people. Viki, Erica and the man, Ibo. We exchanged stories about Istanbul solved many of the world's problems etc. The calamari is certainly one of the best if not the best I've had. A Perfect Manhattan was conjured up. Happy Hour quiet and we enjoyed the attention. Flat Bread -- uh? Sliders were excellent.

I am unfortunately very disappointed in today's experience at this restaurant. We arrived and placed our order at 1:38. Unfortunately it took over an hour to get our food. I would normally be more patient but we had a pregnant mom and we needed food quickly. They didn't even get the first course (soup and salad) out in a reasonable time frame. We were also there during our work lunch hour and it took us two hours to have lunch. They got two orders wrong and although they comped a portion of the bill, it was not enough. We felt that if they had been honest and told us how long the food would take, we would've been better equipped to make a decision. All in all, good food ruined by rotten service and poor managerial decisions. Its especially sad because I went this past Tuesday and had a great experience. The manner in which they served us was so egregiously poor that I felt compelled to leave a negative review. Avoid this place. There are plenty of good eateries in the Gables with better service.

We stayed at the Hotel Colonnade and ate here because it was in the same building. It was just the easy thing to do - with three tired kids. We needed to be in and out quick and I had low expectations. They exceeded my wildest dreams. Super attentive and accommodating - forgiving even of our children in a hip adult atmosphere. The service as exceptional, they didn't miss a detail. The food was fantastic, the tuna poke in particular was excellent. The ramen authentic, fish tacos - everything delectable. I would eat here again and again as there were many things on the menu we would have liked to try. And I certainly recommend it.

I was in town with a co-worker and we decided to head to Coral Gables Swine Table for dinner. However, when we walked by this place the outdoor seating grabbed my attention and stopped to look at the menu. WOW, it was a great menu with amazing choices. So we decided against going to the Swine, GREAT CHOICE, and walked in and sat at the bar. I LOVED the dim lit area, great bar, and ordered some food and drinks. The bartender, Sammy (Sam), was a pleasure to talk with and made the evening enjoyable. My coworker and I were very impressed with the flavors and portion sizes we received. You honestly can't beat the prices for the portions and taste. If my job brings me back to Miami. I will have my car bring me back to this establishment.

Attentive staff and quality service. Everything my family had for breakfast tasted good, and was simply and cleanly prepared. They had a Bloody Mary station where we could customize our own drink. There was nothing particularly unique or stand-out in the cuisine or drinks that I tried but everything was up to par. Accessible to diverse food palettes.

Great place! Love the atmosphere and the staff. I went there for a drink with my coworker on a Friday and had a lovely time. Tonight though, I ordered the short rib scallop risotto through Uber Eats. You guys HAVE to change this recipe. It is crazy bland!!! Even with the sauce. If it is brown rice you're using, switch to something else please! It's not holding the flavor and I can't even taste the ribs! Scallops are cooked perfectly, though. Hope you guys consider this because the place is great.

The service is great, the food is tasty, and the portions are big. Prices are reasonable, especially for the amount of food. Their Sunday brunch is great and you should make reservations if you want to go. Make sure to save room for the bread pudding!
