I stepped outside of my norm and landed in this wonderful spot. I have never been to an establishment where I felt so welcomed. The owner and his wife treated us as if we were family! If you are adventurous and have an untamed palette, The House of food porn will definitely give you a food experience worthy of bragging to your friends about!

This is an experience! Don’t view it as just a restaurant because it is so much more! Very unique offering. Chef Frank and Nikki create a truly one of a kind evening complete with several courses, depending on your choice. The food is inventive to say the least, and I don’t believe you’ll see many repeats of recipes as they base the menu on what is in season, in stock or what seems interesting at that moment.

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted as old friends. They knew our names (you provide this) and had great conversation starters for each of us. We sat down, and immediately felt at home and excited! Our first course came out — !! Wow!! I was not expecting that, and I will not spoil the fun, but let’s say that they were ingredients that I would not think would go together and yet they did! The evening continued at the same pace. The wine flows beautifully and is delicious!! Reminded me a lot of a certain Caymus wine that I love!

Everything was amazing, and we made fast friends with our dining mates, who were celebrating a special birthday. They seat around 12 people, so you’ll make friends with others that evening, which also adds to the charm.

Book this exclusive experience if you’re looking for something different and a lovely way to celebrate any special occasion. Have an open mind, leave your expectations at home and just flow! No utensils, no problem. Come hungry!
Bring a designated driver too if you plan on enjoying the wine or the cocktails! Take lots of photos.

Fun and inventive food! Really enjoyed the chef conversation and presentation with each course. It was a bit like Top Chef where you have private dining with upscale food. Drinks were unique and paired well with the course. Intimate dinner with a friendly and personal service. Highly recommend if you enjoy upscale beyond the usual.

Sharing a birthday with my sister in law we decided to have an experience. I did not fully get the concept of the restaurant when I saw it online. But we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. This small little gem has so much character, just like the chef and his wife. Not only was the food delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the close conversation with the chef about his inspiration of each roll was extravagant. This is definitely something you should experience. 100% recommend this place.

The food was as delicious as it was beautiful! As I enjoyed each course I readily noticed the thoughtfulness and quality ingredients behind Chef Franco's dishes.

The drinks were also superb. Although most of the packages come with the house wine (which is exquisite), I recommend adding a drink or two. The ones I had with my package were very clean, fresh, and well-balanced.

Not only were the food and drinks great, but the vibe created by Nicki and Chef Franco was amazing. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the atmosphere was energetic, yet not over the top. This was an incredible experience that I'm looking forward to having again.

My goodness gracious, what can I say about this awesome place I've never had a meal like it, but I'll definitely be back for more. TL;DR - I can't recommend this experience highly enough. I'd give it 7 stars if I could.

You are greeted by Nicky and enter a funky and eclectic room with a big u-shaped table. Everyone has place cards at their seat and you can get started on the delicious house wine and Lindt truffle right away. The house wine is a custom blend of cab and merlot and wow was it good. I'm not usually a merlot fan but this went down really easily.

After I had a nice buzz on, Chef Franco arrived and started telling us about the history of the restaurant and what we were about to experience. Then the food begins. We did 8 courses - you can do 7 or 8 courses plus add-ons such as unlimited house wine (one bottle was enough for us but you do you) or four separate cocktail pairings. Chef brought out one piece of ShuShi (cooked Cuban sushi fusion) to each person per course, and then we all guessed what was in it. It made you slow down and really think about the flavors. As a result, you didn't leave there super stuffed (just trashed, lol!). they were the most imaginative combination of ingredients - chocolate, duck, salmon, pasta, who knew what was next!

It was about so much more than the (extremely delicious) food. is there anything like the camaraderie of 12 drunk people enjoying a wonderful meal? The attention to detail and interactions from both Chef and Nicky were next level. The food was not only delicious but artfully plated. The celebration of my husband's 40th birthday still leaves me with warm fuzzies.

I'm in the northeast and I'm still planning to fly back to Miami for this again soon. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

One of the most premier food experiences I’ve ever had. I tasted more unique and innovative things in one night then I’ve tasted in the last decade. The service was so wonderful warm and welcoming. The cocktails were magnificent and what an amazing pairing to the incredible food that we had, if you’re in Miami, this amazing experience is a must do!

Spending the evening with Frank and Nikki was the highlight of our time in Miami! We have done several tasting menu dinners and this one stands out among them all! Frank’s style is so special and he truly creates a unique experience that drives you to get in touch with your senses and taste memory. Nikki is exceptionally charming and funny and we enjoyed the conversation and getting to know them both. The food and the experience are well worth the price.
