Third time coming here for dinner. We drive about 30 min from Davis county to eat here. The first two times were excellent. This time the service fell short. The same two gals were serving, but this time they were inattentive and completely forgot our appetizer. We ordered Samosa that never came. The restaurant wasn't busy and it was a Saturday evening. Our water wasn't refilled the whole time and after swiping my card one of the girls literally threw our check on the table! We were shocked, because the first two visits were during busier times and the service was better. The food was good, and made with the requested dietary restriction modifications. All three times the food was good, which is why we kept coming back. But, after the way we were treated this time, we will give other restaurants a chance.

India House is the Indian gem of its area. It’s a very small business, with a cozy, quiet atmosphere. The staff is so sweet and friendly, and it’s nice to see the same faces every time we go. My favorite dish is the Chicken Coconut Korma! We pick up our food half the time because it lasts and reheats so well.

I’ve been getting takeout and dining in at India house for many years, they have been consistent in the quality of delicious food and friendly service. They are one of my go to for take out on busy nights when I run out of time to cook. India house has many delicious vegetarian meals. We have never once had a bad experience. They have never made a mistake on a take out order.

Service was great and the food was delicious! I will definitely be going back! Prices are reasonable as well.

First take out order we were impressed with the food. Really yummy tasting. Second take out order was mostly sauce in the container. Had hardly any chicken. Maybe 5-8 pieces in the container. Not planning on ordering from here again.

My family and I have been coming here for about 20 years. The food here is our favorite and we have eaten at many different Indian restaurants. I have tried so many different dishes and I love them all but our favorites are the Lamb Saag, Chicken Curry and Chicken Korma/Coconut Korma. I recently tried the Shrimp Coconut Korma and that is amazing as well!! The service is amazing, I love that I still recognize all the same faces even after all this time. Sometimes I order to go but I love eating there more, they are always so friendly!

My family and I absolutely love India House! We eat here all the time it's our favorite Indian restaurant in salt lake. The family who owns and runs this restaurant are simply amazing. Due to frequenting this lovely restaurant on a regular basis we have become regulars and they are willing to go above and beyond for their customers. This year for my husband birthday they accommodated us by making his favorite appetizer that is no longer on the menu. Everything, as usual, tasted wonderful!

This is my go-to Indian food restaurant. I wish they would bring back their onion bhaji. Now there’s only one place in the valley I can find it. But that aside, full marks! Make sure to give them a try. : )
