Island House Tap and Grill is a cozy place to get a meal in the village of Siesta Key. There's not much seating available which makes it nice in my book. The atmosphere is what I've come to expect for Siesta Key restaurants which is very fitting and went along with the whole vibe of island theme. Our server was polite and attentive. Now to the food. It was excellent. High quality ingredients and everything is made from scratch. It's a legit scratch kitchen. Everyone in our party enjoyed his or her food. If you like beer and wine on top of good food, the beer and wine selection is hard to beat as well.

I've been here multiple times. The first time was great. The second time wasn't so good as the service was really lacking and food wasn't on par.

The last time I came a few days ago it was great! The service was really good and fast. Food came out super hot and everything was good. The first shrimp app was phenomenal and I highly recommend that dish. The steak tacos were good - could have used a little more crema but some hot sauce did the trick. The bowls they have are also very very good!

Overall if you're in the key I highly suggest stopping by here for lunch. They have a lot of great options.

This spot is tucked into a strip mall and pretty small, but a good find

Incredible food ? My 3.5-year-old loved her black rice with beans; I couldn't believe she ate it and asked for more. And OMG ? the BACON ? I don't eat it, but my partner ordered a burger with it, and I had to try it; it was so delicious. I will be back!

We loved this place! Tuna taco's was my favorite! Libster Mac n cheese was yummy and lobster Roll! Get the duck fat fries! We also ordered tequila sunrise & bloody Mary. Stephen our waiter was awesome and also let us borrow cell phone charger. No need for paying for parking if you are at one of the Plaza establishments. <3

With a quaint setting in a totally chill and laid-back staff I was not exactly sure what kind of food I was going to get. To be honest with you I didn't have very high expectations. Although a little pricey, I believe, the food tasted really good and I was pleasantly surprised!. You can tell the chef puts a little bit of love in his dishes. The presentation was really nice.
I don't think you'd be disappointed when you visit this place in sarasota. The setting is really laid back but very satisfying.

I will say this is an excellent place. The atmosphere is awesome and yes it's tiny so plan on coming early or waiting. They have the largest selection of craft beers in siesta key that's for sure. The food was good don't get me wrong. The tuna bowl is great, but I would love it even more with rice. The lobster roll was decent but not the best I've had and the portion was pretty small for the price. When you get a $30 lobster roll you want it packed and flavourful it was a little bit of a let down compared to others. The chicken quesadilla was decent and good. The Carne Asada Tacos where good just a little dry. Honestly this is 4.2ish star restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming but a slow to get service or refills. They do have a kids menu but this is more of an adult restaurant just based on the menu. Atmosphere is great but picky kids may hassle you. ?
