Gorgeous place if you want to feel like you're lost in the woods. The trails are well-marked and really fun. Very quiet. We didn't see anyone really until we got back to the parking lot. We'll definitely be back when we're in the mood for a nice day hike with the kids.

Such a great place to walk! Love that they have benches throughout the walk/woods. They gave signs that tell you about what the trees are. Make sure you carry bug spray mosquitoes are terrible in the Spring/Summer. Also as you get further into the walk the signs stop coming as frequently and you're kind of left guessing if you're going the correct way. Definitely a path that wouldn't be good during the snow days as you'd have no idea where the path is and there are no consistent signage.

What a wonderful hiking trip we had, so well maintained and clean. We loved the storybook trail and the swans, and the changing of the leaves. Please come here, you won't regret it.

This is a great place to explore nature. The trails are easy hikes. Good place for birdwatching, walking, or running. Very family friendly. Open from dawn til dusk. The nature center is cute and has several local animals on display. There are also restrooms inside. Check out their social media for events and activities. They do a lot in the summer. The camps for kids are very well run and organized. My daughter had an excellent time attending them.

Main building was nice with clean restrooms and animal exhibits. Areas around main building clearly marked with easy trails. Local history of rail system very interesting. When you venture further out trail markings very inconsistent. It's odd because it comes and goes.... It's a 6 plus mile hike around full loop. You go through a stretch of a quarter mile and have a dozen markers and paint on mostly straight ways and than a mile with switchbacks and zero markings and than a bunch of markers again. Some areas with treefall over trail too so you have to do some detouring. You can't get really lost because there are roadways around but you may go on a large detour if you lose track.
