Oh my goodness you HAVE to stop by!! The ambiance is so cool. The onion rings are amazing. The crab cakes are good and affordable. The pizza was yummy and made fresh. Kat was super kind and helpful.

Stopped in for lunch today. To start, the old woman at the front who sat us was miserable and not personable at all. Our waitress was the bartender and she was rude as can be. I asked her if one of the food menu items would've been a good and she replied "mhm." No information, no recommendation to it. Nothing. Completely useless to be honest. I didn't even ask her what was in it because she clearly seemed bothered to do her job in any capacity. When the food arrived, the wings were overcooked. The steak was overcooked and the crab melt was more peppers than anything and lacked any flavor other than green peppers. I was disappointed when the food arrived to the table as I did not realize the amount of peppers that would be in the meal. (It was overwhelming) while I was expressing my frustration to my mother at the table, the bartender rudely said under her breath "well if you would've asked me, you would've known." I hadn't even said anything to her. I was appalled. I just drove 3 hours and this is the treatment you give to paying customers? Just a horrible atmosphere and customer service experience. I work as a bartender back home and I would NEVER make a comment at a table like that. Completely unprofessional. If you're going to have terrible staff, at least make your food well. Highly recommend avoiding this place and taking your money elsewhere for better quality food.

My wife and I are visiting Westminster MD for a long weekend getaway. We had dinner at Johansson’s - Monica was our server and gave excellent service.

My wife ordered the Painkiller cocktail and small Caesar salad for appetizer; she noted that the Painkiller was Grade A and no second was needed.

I ordered the Side Car cocktail, straight, and it was stiff! I had a second with my meal; compliments to the Bartender.

My wife ordered Old Bay Wings (8) and Sausage Pizza as an entree. She was very pleased with both and didn’t finish half (doggy bag).

I ordered Tai Wings with Bleu Cheese and a Loaded Toppings Pizza; I too was equally pleased with both! The wings are a large size and the Bleu Cheese was thick and tangy.

The pizzas are cooked in a brick oven and the charred crust was done well.

We also ordered Apple Pie and Chocolate Fudge Cake to go.

We definitely recommend Johansson’s for anyone visiting Westminster MD and they also have a decent bar area.

Gentlemen I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that one of the Female Hostesses is 👀 noteworthy…. (wife agrees)

Food was excellent, especially the BBQ shrimp appetizer and the cream of crab soup. Loved the crab imperial. Our server was excellent - very attentive. The only drawback was it was pretty noisy, hence the atmosphere losing a star.

Had Beef Wellington, my very first time ever trying it.
It was Awesome! Wife had crab cakes and she was happy with them.
We got there early 330pm so there wasn't a lot of atmosphere at that time, which we enjoyed...
I do recommend a try!
2 people for dinner $105.

Our first time here since we moved to this area back in January. We had heard mixed reviews, so we just went in with an open mind. We were very pleased with our dinner and the bartender was on point. My husband and I were thrilled to finally find a place that knows how to make a good, quality mixed drink along with serving a great meal. My husband had the French onion soup and surf and turf (steak and lobster). I had the filet with baked potato. Delicious!! Will definitely return as it is a great atmosphere and nice place for a date night with or without kids.

Upstairs is more chill compared to Downstairs. Many college kids because McDaniel is walking distance so mostly college kids downstairs. If u don't want to be bumped into on a busy Fri or Sat night I would recommend staying upstairs.

A rather lackluster dining experience, but with great potential. The atmosphere is wonderful, but very slow service and mediocre food made it less than exciting. A little more scrutiny of the food flavor and a little more attention to table wait times would really elevate the place back to an excellent local hub.
