Great breakfast, very homey feeling inside, great prices and amazing associates. What more could you ask for!
We had the connbeef hash with overeasy eggs and hollandaise sauce.
Scrambled eggs with cheese: bacon toast and hash browns with a massive side chocolate pancake.

Wow! This place is incredible!! On My first visit to John Ski’s restaurant, I was here at 7am, I was seated promptly and had coffee in hand within a couple of minutes. Who doesn’t love that?!? My breakfast order was served within about 10 minutes (maybe less) the food was delicious, fresh and hot. Perfect! However, they serve a huge portion, (which I did not know at the time) so bring your hungry belly with you! Or at least another belly to share it with.
Today is my second visit. I arrived at 11:30 am, and my experience has not changed. I was seated promptly and had my coffee within a few minutes. Literally. I asked my waitress for a suggestion on something small sized. I chose their smallest menu item and I was still surprised at how much food they can fit on a plate! Seriously! I need to fast for a day or two before my next visit. And I WILL be back again! Next time I will order from the side dishes! Lol. I had zero complaints or issues with John Ski’s restaurant

Absolutely the most fun I've had choosing breakfast in a long time!! The service and attention from the management and staff is phenomenal ... our food was delicious (despite the fact we didn't prefer the favor and texture of the pot roast in our omelet)... essentially, if they have the ingredients, they will make it for you!!! This is on top of the extensive menu!!! You can ask for samples of soup or sauces, and I was lucky enough to try the She-Crab soup and the -limited time only- chipotle chorizo gravy... holy moly- fantastic... it was worth the 30 minute drive for us to enjoy John Ski's House of Breakfast and Lunch... the entire menu is always available!!

Well place looked pretty popular but we sat for a while with no drinks. People were served and finished before we got our food. A little expensive, a $50 breakfast that was not $50. Two French toast , stuff Crepes ( stuffing was horrible) and coffee and OJ , all $50 , don’t mind paying for good food but this was not a $50 meal , over all took way to long. So if you have plenty of time to spare this is your place. Well we ate but don’t think we will be back.

We had a bit of a wait but it was Sunday at brunch time. Our server greeted us and got our drinks promptly and was very personable. Hands down best service we've received from a very busy restaurant since moving here 7 yrs ago. We ordered our food and were shocked at the large portions of fantastic, perfectly cooked food we all received. All of the staff were very attentive to our needs even though they were swamped and we never had to wait for anything. 6 of us feasted for around $60. We will definitely be coming back for breakfast as it is by far the best breakfast we've had in the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte area.

The place is quite classic, I had always wanted to go to a place like this in Florida. The food is as it appears on the menu, and it is also very good. The attention they gave me was excellent. I can say that it was worth going. The price for the dishes varies from 15 to 40 dollars. there is enough parking. Next to the restaurant there is a place to drink liquor (if you are not the driver, be prepared). When you arrive, if the restaurant is full, you must announce yourself. but you wait 10 to 15 minutes. No delivery!!!

As an eagles fan it’s hard to give the atmosphere 5 stars (they are clearly Detroit lion fans hehehe) but the place is great!!! (And the lions decor is very nice too). First time here after a local event and we will for sure come back if/when back in the area! The food is delicious and worth the price (a tad high for breakfast but when it’s worth it who cares!) The pancake was literally as big as the plate and for the first time ever I think we found a pancake that my 6’2 135lb boyfriend had a hard time putting away lol. I had an egg white omelet with chicken breast and it was delicious. Our server was Mary and she was super sweet and very accommodating! Thank you Mary!! Great place I highly recommend!

Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Our server even commented that she really liked working there. Lots of options on the menu.
