Homey family-owned Korean restaurant business. Food is decent, but pales in comparison to other Korean eateries in Singapore. They do have a pretty good banchan spread of 8 different side dishes.

I ordered the Doenjang Jjigae, and it was a healthy and comforting blend of tofu, veggies, and pork cubes in a soybean paste stew. We also tried the Bibim Naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles), rather tasty although I think it could have been served colder. The kimchi pancake had a thin and crispy floury batter, with slight sourness from the kimchi. A little oilier than I like it to be, but it was decent. The highlight was the banchan, with a wide variety of leek pancakes, kimchi, anchovies, spicy potatoes, caramelised sweet potatoes, stir-fried fishcakes…!

The space is cozy and homey, and they have a good number of seats. Not sure if I would return, but might give other things on the menu a try.

Ordered takeaway. Food was delicious and everything was well packed. Price-wise, what you’d expect from such an establishment in the vicinity of Orchard Road. Fried Chicken and Pancake really good.

Was skeptical at first as the reviews are not so positive about the service quality. But me and my friend had such a good time here. Food was amazing and came out so fast, it was really well marinated and seasoned. Panchan was one of the best I ever had, even better than many Korean restaurants in Tanjong Pagar area. Everything was just right. Atmosphere-wise, I love the choice of songs here, all good Korean songs with no mainstream ones, what a refreshing place. Now down to the service, all restaurants can be crazy at peak hours but honestly we had really good service, no fuss, no one bothering us eating or doing unnecessary stuff, the waitress we had was polite and fast. Not sure why the 1-star reviews were so negative on this part.

Mr Kim cooks everything and Mrs Kim serves. I didn’t like Korean food till I tried here and now is my go-to for unpretentious authentic Korean home style cooking. Her side dishes all taste just right, my husband says her kimchi tastes better than others. So no wonder we find her kimchi stew and kimchi pancake the best. I think her half and half fried chicken is the best too. Sometimes we have the pork belly bbq with lettuce, these are our fave dishes of the Kims. Last time I was there this American-Korean guy was eating I think kimchi stew by himself, and when he finished he said to Mrs Kim I’ve arrived here 6 months ago and yours is the best genuine Korean food I’ve found in Singapore. I couldn’t agree more.

Located on Killiney Road close to Somerset MRT and a short walk from Orchard road offers pocket friendly and homely Korean Cuisine. Walked in on a Sunday evening and got a place easily though other times times have seen it quiet crowded .
Service was very good ! The Chicken Bulgogi , ginseng Chicken soup and Kimchi Chicken Fried rice were all tasty! Each serving enough for 1 pax . Nice K-pop hits keep playing in the background and the staff keep attending and checking to your needs ! A nice place if you fancy Korean food!

Delicious food and worthy comparison to some of the more popular Korean restaurants at Tanjong Pagar.
Nice to see so many side dishes! The kimchi in particular had a good kick!
Had mulnengmyeon, beef bulgogi and soy bean paste stew for lunch (No, I didn't eat everything, but these were what we ordered)

Top notch service by friendly and attentive Korean family. We had the mixed chicken and soy soup. Side dishes were generous and fantastically complemented our main orders well. Side dishes could be refilled upon request as well. Good enough portions for 2 pax! We will be back!
