It’s a super cool spot and definitely has nice teas for those looking to explore, but for those who already enjoy fine loose leaf teas at home, it was not really the mind blowing experience I had been anticipating. The lighter food we tried was good but a bit pricey, although expected for this area. Very impressive vegan menu, and I enjoyed the Raaka chocolates + tea sampler packs sold near the register. It’s a nice spot near the Chicago Botanic Garden.

A relaxed atmosphere, completely vegan food, sparse tables, wide selection of tea, good service. Maybe even a chance to see Billy Corgan. If you are looking for a casual, no fuss lunch spot, this is it. They also have a nice collection of records, books and trinkets.

Finally made it after years of wanting to. The food, various trinkets and merch were all great. The meatball sub and rainbow cake were excellent, staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was fun just being in a space that has hosted so many cool events and I hope to visit again when one is happening.

Great tea/coffee selection, friendly staff. Food menu looked wonderful, but didn't have opportunity to try. Live music for sat/Sun brunch hours sets a great vibe while browsing through vinyl and other items in the shop!

I’m normally a coffee drinker but decided to give this place a try since their good menu caught my attention. While a little on the pricey side the food was really good! I had the Chickpea Tuna Melt along with the Dark + Stormy (Chocolate Blue Matcha) which was Amazing!! For food and a drink expect to pay around $20-30

We were in the Highland Park area and this place has been on my radar. Stopped on late Sunday morning.
Street parking can be a challenge .

You enter thru their gift shop where they offer branded merchandise, tea and vinyl records. Prices are not cheap but many items are unique and cannot be purchased elsewhere. Lots of re-released Smashing Pumpkins records since this place is owned by Billy Corgan.

They have various coffees, apps and sandwiches listed on the wall along with a separate menu with daily specials and teas. Prices are not listed on their tea or coffee menu so ask before you order as some of the specialty tea drinks can get pricey.

We ordered the breakfast taco special which came with 3 tacos and breakfast potatoes. Not sure why they were called "Breakfast " tacos. Toppings was only 1 onion slice and a few leafs of cilantro. We ordered the pork, beef and chorizo but quite frankly they all tasted the same and were very bland. Nothing had flavor.

We also tied a gluten free chocolate brownie which was ok but didn't seem fresh..maybe a day old.

Limited seating is available and they had a guitar player while we ate which was a nice touch

The place has a cool vibe and I would go back but probably for just a drink and a pastry.

Cool place but they can warm up the atmosphere big time. I was so excited to visit and was let down by the empty majority of space. If there were lounge chairs or couches the place would make it to another level.

I was in Chicago for a conference and stayed an extra day to get over to Madame ZuZus for tea and plant based bites. As a lifelong Smashing Pumpkins & WPC fan, I have shopped online at ZuZus several times purchasing vinyl & teas. It was pretty cool to visit the spot in person. A trendy venue that had a little something for everyone. The tea was incredibly well prepared and there were several options. I enjoyed the grilled cheese & Chloe’s tomatoe soup and it was really good. The kitchen sink cookies were worth the whole detour to visit the shop! I took home some vinyl and really enjoyed looking through Billy’s vinyl vault collection. Super cool. The staff were kind and knowledgeable, but, took some time to acknowledge us once we came in and we didn’t really know what to do. That said it was lunch time and very likely that they were just busy. I would absolutely recommend tea lovers & pumpkin fans to plan a stop to ZuZus if you’re able or in the area. Oh! The Photo Booth was a really nice touch as well!
