I had one of the worst shopping experiences with Moe’s Coquitlam . I purchased a dining table set (one table and four chairs) for almost $4,000. I was promised delivery within three weeks, but now after almost four months, there’s still no delivery and no clear answer.

Every time I follow up, they tell me “it will arrive in a few days” — but nothing ever happens. They keep making false promises and delaying my order without any valid reason. Worst of all, they refuse to refund my money.

Their customer service is completely unresponsive and irresponsible. I feel deceived and extremely frustrated.

I’m writing this review to strongly warn others: stay away from this store. Don’t risk your time, money, and peace of mind like I did.

I usually don’t write reviews unless the experience is 5/5, but my experience with Moe’s Coquitlam has been far from that. Receiving my items has been a frustrating ordeal.

Credit where it’s due: the manager, Jason, has tried to help when the service has been egregious. Thanks to Jason, we got a good deal on the couch and were promised delivery between September and mid-October. We placed the order back in July and chose a couch that was already shipping to avoid waiting until November.

However, the delivery was repeatedly delayed in two-week increments: first to mid-October, then late October, then mid-November, late November, early December, and finally, I received it on December 23rd. If the delays were going to be so substantial, why keep telling me “just two more weeks”? Worse, I had to call each time to get updates—never once did Moe’s contact me about the delays.

Now it’s January 25th, six months after the original purchase, and I still haven’t received the throw pillows I ordered with the couch. I’ve called three times about this with no follow-up. I hope this review prompts some action.

That said, the couch itself is great, and Jason was helpful when I specifically asked for him. But the overall experience has been incredibly disappointing.

the place is really nice and clean. they decorate the place really well and they have a nice theme to each area. i would come back here again. the staff were helpful and were not pushy, they allowed me to roam around to just simmer in each area.

Great experience visiting the store. Staffs are very inviting, knowledgeable and helpful! Great selection of furniture styles that appeals to many. Prices are reasonable and is what you should expect to pay for a top quality product. Would definitely come by again in the near future to pick up some more new pieces for the home!

This is the most astonishing showroom I’ve ever seen so far. Lots of Italian designs with modern accents and surprises. If you need assistance, find this guy named Jason, fluent bilingual in Chinese and English, nice and professional

Came here just to look and there’s lots of furniture displays set up and it’s quite big too(not as big as their flagship in vancouver though). The staff are also super nice and helpful. Like other Moes it smells great too 🤪

After I posted my comments, the customer service got back to me with a suggested solution, for that I would like to express my appreciation and revise the star evaluation.

We bought six table chairs from them 2 years ago. They ran out of stock so gave us six chairs in two deliveries and they came in two different colors of legs (see pics). They said there was nothing they could do and we were not too picky about it. After two years the cushions of the chairs are getting really thin and uncomfortable and I called today to ask them if they have the service to change the cushions and we are willing to pay. the guy who answered the phone just dismissed our request right away saying it is only covered under one year warranty and after that just is not their problem. I understand that, but there were expensive chairs and not some Ikea stuff you throw away after a year or two.

After sales service was unbelievable. Don't hesitate to use Moe's for your furniture needs.
