Whenever I visit my sister in Baltimore we eat here! There’s a good variety of vegetarian and non-veg options. One of my favorite parts is the chai- there’s unsweetened and sweetened options so you can adjust to your liking. It’s delicious! The atmosphere and music is calming and the employees are always friendly and kind. It’s also a great value of food for the price. Would recommend!

I’ve been coming to Nepali House & Restaurant since 2018, and it never fails to impress😌The food is always so delicious and authentic bringing the true taste of Nepal to the table. During our recent visit my mom and I were delighted to receive complementary tea ☕from one of the staff which made our experience even more special. The warm hospitality and incredible flavors keep us coming back. Thank you for being the best place to enjoy Nepali cuisine!

Stopped in for lunch buffet and did not regret it! Immediately accommodated our party of six. The food at the buffet was hot and full of flavor. The servers took excellent care of us. Definitely going to come back!

The food we had was really good. We liked the Momos. We also had malai kofta and kadhai chicken. Maybe we should try their buffet for lunch. I will recommend it for a good mood food. Service was okay but could be better if they care for customer satisfaction.

Delicious Nepali authentic taste. Unlike many restaurants that call themselves to have Nepali food but had Indian style cooking, this restaurant provides authentic Nepali taste with less oils and butter. Buffet is way better than many restaurants around. Ambience is good with Nepali arts on the walls and Nepali instrumentals. Clean and peaceful environment. Staffs are helpful.

EDITING TO ADD: even after 10 years as a customer, Nepal House still reigns as my favorite for service and quality in the neighborhood! Their remodel looks fantastic and still allows for both casual meetups or celebratory events like birthdays, holidays, dates, or just a fun night out with friends!

Nepal House is also one of my favorite places for celebratory dinners with friends! The interior is well-lit, inviting, and perfect for both causal-friend meet-ups, intimate dates, or business dinners. On a nice day, you can walk by the restaurant and smell the food from across the street!

The menu is larger, with many dishes having options for vegetarian, chicken, seafood (varying types), or beef/lamb. Lots of delicious curries, rice dishes, marinated and saucy meats, cooked vegetables, and appetizers galore! I am a fan of their Momo (steamed or fried!), Samosas, Saag Paneer and Alu Gobi (spicy)! They make their own paneer in-house, and everything is spiced to perfection. Everything is served beautifully with their own warmers to keep the food hot and fresh. Basmati rice is always seasoned and fluffy, easy to scoop up with my utensils and serve as a vessel for the incredible dishes.

If you're newer to this type of food, don't be intimidated by the names and flavor profiles. The menu on-site and online has descriptions of everything, and know that if you like warm and earthy food that gives you a hug from the inside-out, then try it out! "Entry-level" dishes like the biriyani, tikka marsala, or butter chicken are nice to help introduce you to the cooking techniques and flavors.
