Joshua was an excellent waiter! The stakes were cooked exactly as ordered. The salmon was fabulous. All in all, the food was incredible!

The atmosphere is nice and romantic with a western vibe. The stagecoach light is dimmable if you desire. The tables are quiet and secluded all you can hear is faint music while enjoying dinner and conversations with your guests.

Wonderful restaurant can't wait to go back! It is rather pricey, but the food and atmosphere is worth the trip!

Plan on around $50 per person with soda and a tip. If adding appetizers or alcohol then it will be much more but sit back and enjoy a wonderful evening.

It was okay. I got the last piece of prime rib medium pink and tender. Kids loved the prairie cheese burger. Loved the fried mushrooms. The breaded fish was okay with lemon. The turkey sandwich and sides like fries and mashed potatoes weren't so good, too salty. A little under manned, but our waitress was attentive. The place was amazingly decorated.

Quiet, secluded and plenty of room at the tables. Staff were very nice and helpful. Would definitely visit again. Salmon, 8oz Sirloin Steak and Shrimp, 8oz Sirloin and 8oz Lobster, 8oz steak. Steaks were very tender and cooked perfectly.

My wife and I have wanted to eat there since seeing pictures of it. We went there with family and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is amazing and so is the food. Our waitress was the nicest and she made sure we had a memorable time.
I highly recommended this place and I’m sure that kids would love seeing all the displays

Run ,don't walk to this amazing restaurant and ask for Sheriff Melanie! She is the most professional amazing server I've encountered encountered in Ogden. Melanie knows how to pace the order so we were able to really enjoy each part of our meal. She was friendly but never intrusive on our date. Absolutely the perfect experience. The location is decorated in a Western Theme with covered wagons for each booth,great for privacy! A museum type display including a wolf as you enter. Lots of fun touches like Wanted Posters, Lanterns on the tables and home baked bread. The shrimp scampi dip was excellent. I enjoyed the awesome salad that came with my meal. It had homemade ranch dressing and even little fresh peas. Our steaks and fish were great too. Don't miss the fun atmosphere,superior service and excellent food!

What an experience!! This Steakhouse was absolutely probably one of the most amazing dining experiences I have ever had. There are not enough words to express how stellar of a place this was. This is one time I wish Google had a 10-star rating. I'll start with the atmosphere absolutely amazing It is one of the most brilliant restaurants setups I've ever seen! It felt like I was sitting in the old west in the back of a covered wagon eating dinner. Now for the service Jeremy was an amazing waiter he attended to our every need made sure drinks were always full and constantly checking on the quality of the food! Now for the food probably one of the most amazing steaks I've ever had in my life It was cooked to perfection The baked potato was absolutely perfect and even my side of broccoli was perfectly cooked! I can't wait to come back to Utah in 6 months for my next meeting and make sure I have a reservation at the Prairie Schooner Steakhouse!!!

We really loved The Prairie Schooner! We were visiting Layton/Ogden area and found this place just googling for restaurants. We did not have a reservation but they were luckily able to seat us. This was as much an experience as it was a dinner! The booths were super cute wagons and it felt like you were eating outside. The food was awesome as well!
