DC에서 약 40마일 북쪽에 위치한 동부의 중형 도시입니다. Johns Hopkins University가 있는 도시이고 MLB 구단 중에 하나인 Blatimore Orioles가 홈팀이지요. 예전에 김현수 선수가 2년 정도 뛰어서 우리에게는 잘 알려진 구단입니다.
DC에서 얼마 떨어져 있지는 않지만 분위기는 DC와 너무나 다른 곳입니다. 지금은 많이 좋아지긴 했지만 아직도 굉장히 어그레시브한 홈리스들과 으스스한 할렘거리들이 방문객을 긴장시킵니다. 그나마 유동인구가 많고 깔끔한 지역이 Baltimore Convention Center와 Orioles Park가 위치한 Pratt Street 지역과 그 옆의 Inner Harnor 지역입니다.

이 식당은 위치가 한 몫 합니다.
컨벤션센터 바로 길 건너편에 위치하는데 주변에 식당이 없기 때문에 돋보적인 독점의 위치가 자연스럽게 유지가 됩니다.
참 축복받은 식당입니다.

#메뉴
아메리칸 맥주집입니다. 음식들도 꽤 기름진 Pub 메뉴들이 대부분인데 그 양이 참 대단히 많습니다. 그리고 볼티모어 지역이 게가 유명하기 때문에 게를 이용한 메뉴들이 보이는데... 특히 볼티모어 앞 Bay인 Chesapeke Crab이 이집 시그니쳐 메뉴입니다. 이날 볼티모어 시타일의 게스프와 Chesapeke Dinner를 주문해 봤습니다.

#Crab_Soup
토마토와 갑각류 베이스의 묽은 스프인데 게살 약간과 bean, corn 같은 채소가 들어있습니다. 게의 향이 조금 나지만 크게 인상적이지 못했고 내용물이 오랫동안 반복적으로 가열이 되서 신선하게 느껴지지 않았네요.
우리나라 고속도로 휴게소 마감 직전의 짬뽕을 연상하시면 쉽게 상상이 가실 듯.

#Chesapeke_Dinner
구운 닭가슴살 위에 게살을 올리고 치즈와 함께 구워낸 요리입니다. 스팀한 채소와 함께 제공이 되는데 닭가슴살의 비율이 너무 높아 게의 풍미는 덮여버리고 게는 느껴지지 않았던 게요리였습니다.

전체적으로 위치로 손님을 모으는 곳이라는 느낌이 강합니다. 서버들은 친절과 무뚝뚝의 중간 정도입니다.
단체 모임으로 나쁘지 않을 것 같은 식당입니다.

Stopped in before a concert. Service was fantastic and hostess/waitress were both very friendly and great servers. Food was just ok. Shrimp were very good. French fries wrre on the cold side. Salmom and veggies tasted ok - but tasted prefroze. I love that the restaurant is walking distance from tge CFG arena.

Server was really nice and friendly. We did not like that he was working the outside tables and inside. You have to spend more time outside in case tables try to walk or others come so the inside guest have to wait. We had the blackened chicken pasta, huge portion. I would rate it a 5 but it could’ve had a tiny bit more flavor. The chicken bites (Thai) were good. In the section where we were seated there was something dripping from the ceiling to a nearby table. I watched it as I waited. Not a large menu, but I would go back.

We either we're too hungry or this place actually is that good! Everything we ordered came out delicious. We tried the wings, salmon BLT, burger, pretzel and fried pickles. The only negative thing I can say is that the fried pickles were a little too salty. Other than that I highly recommend especially for a late night food spot after a baseball game.

We decided to have dinner here after the tow show as we have every year we attend. The food wasn't that good this time. The nachos were mainly chips, chicken barely fit on the buns, burger was basic, bbq pork was on a plain hamburger bun and the crab mac and cheese was so small we thought it was a child serving for $27.99. (I wouldn't mind spending the money if it was a larger serving)We will definitely be finding a new place to eat next year!

I came here with family and loved it. It was busy and we dined upstairs. The food and service were very good. Portions are LARGER than normal. Our server, Soledad was EXCEPTIONAL!

Stopped in for a drink after an O’s game and found the place to be bumpin on a Saturday night. Good crowd in a rustic building right on Pratt St just west of the Inner Harbor area by a couple blocks. Can’t comment on the food cuz we only had drinks.

Staff was great and drinks were solid. Environment was great. Even though its right there in the busy Inner Harbor area it feels like its a suburban bar. Will be back to try the menu some day.

We had dinner here while visiting family in Baltimore and we're surprised when 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill for a party of 2. They have it posted on the lower right corner of the menu but I don't read 100% of the menu. If they consider that posting a service contract they really should hand you a sheet on top of the menu that states it. We ordered two appetizers for take out and had to pay 20% on those as well. Food was good and I always tip well for good service but won't go back here again.
