My coworkers and I wanted to get some ramen and I will say ramen house was the right choice. We all loved the gyoza that we shared. Flavor and done’ness level was on point! I got the vegetarian ramen and enjoyed every bite and drop of soup. The service was a little slow which normally isn’t the case. I will say that this shop is way better inside than some of the other locations! Ramen for the win!

Great quick friendly service. Food served very hot (in a good way) and loaded with flavor! If you like spicy ramen, this is the place for you. The fried octopus is a fun new thing to try as well! Will be returning for sure! Definitely recommend.

I was at the opening of their first restaurant in Palatine and they were great. As good as many in Japan. Over time they reduced the quality (cost) of the food and leveled off. They're still okay and a little better than Tokyo Bowl. I miss the Kara age they use to make. More crunch the pieces had more surface area and ginger taste. The Best Condition had more whole garlic and veggies too. The chicken broth was kind of on the salty side. Got a side order of egg and they were nice. The price is still pretty close to when they opened so that's a plus. Also most of the people in there with us for lunch appeared to be Japanese so it does say something about its authenticity.

Soft opening on 12/05/2019. Attentive and friendly staff. Everything we ordered came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Not very many seats, so be prepared if it's busy. Got a bit Smoky in the restaurant from the fryers, so hopefully they'll get their ventilation adjusted properly. I will definitely be back

Authentic Japanese ramen w a surprisingly wide variations of them. Simple decor, quick service, the warm broth was tasty w the fresh noodles.

Finally got around to dining in for the first time ever this past wknd and was a pleasant experience. Put it this way, I already missed the taste as I walked out of there when we were done with dinner.

Love what the interior decorators did being I feel like I'm in an authentic ramen house in Japan. Ramen noodles is one of the many things I miss from Japan being I grew up a navy brat while my dad was stationed at Yokosuka Naval Station.

Went with the Tonkotsu and my kids went with the Miso. Don't recall the name of the noodles my wife had but it looked darn good. The noodles are exceptional but the broth is king!

Now I won't have to drive to northern Cook County for some delicious Japanese noodles anymore, Vernon Hills is the place to be now. Squeaky clean/sanitized lil cafe with a fine menu, reasonable prices and a friendly staff. Can't wait to come back!

The gyoza or the chicken karaage is so good! I've had Taiwanese spicy ramen and the beef udon. Honestly it's the beef udon that keeps me coming back! Really busy place sometimes, but the food is so good.

I would give 3 stars as average from my order. 1 star for Katsudon and 4.5 stars for Chanpon ramen. One of my friends told me that they have a great Katsudon. I was so disappointed with the quality of meat and the way they cooked. They put too little sauce which made the bowl so dry and stuffy. I had to ask for more sauce and ended up with cold soy sauce (cooked of course). I won’t order Katsudon if I come here again. The Ramen wasn’t the best but okay. And eventually this is the only place I can go for ramen within 10 minutes driving distance.

I am editing this review. They have a few different locations. One in Glenview has best Katsudon in town I would say. They use quality meat not like Vernon Hills location. If you want try any Donburi, visit the Glenview location.
