I have purchased 4 recliner chairs from RK Furniture since 2008. The first one was made in China and had plastic moving parts. It eventually broke and was sent back to the store for salvage. The next 3 recliner chairs were made by La-Z-Boy in Michigan, USA. Two (2) of those broke for the same reason - the other one my puppy chewed up and I had to give away because it was disfigured. My long history with recliners has demonstrated to me that the moving mechanisms all eventually break leaving you with a stationary chair rather than a working recliner. Some of the moving parts are even made of plastic components.

I am not really sure what I want to say except that we are so disappointed in your customer service. Last spring/early summer we contacted you regarding having our paliser leather rocker/recliner repaired. We were told this was possible and that the parts were even still under warranty. We would just need to pay for the shipping. We felt this was reasonable and communicated that we wanted to go ahead with the repair of our chair. Fast forward to September when we still hadn't heard from you regarding this. We were given the run around and we had been missed in a shuffle. We understand these things happen. Finally the parts arrive! Great!....when my husband dropped off the chair for repair we were suprised to find out that 'repair' to RK furniture doesnt actually mean fix the chair, it only means order parts. After back and forth on both phone and emails with RK furniture refused to follow through on repairing the chair. My husband went to collect the chair and parts defeated. However, we were only given the chair and not the parts that we paid for in full months ago. The cost was several hundred dollars. We are a young family with 4 kids. This is a big deal to our pocket book. We havent been offered a refund or any kind of help to fix this huge blunder.

We always receive great customer service when dealing with RK Furniture. I recently purchased a Lazy Boy recliner/lift chair for my husband who needed a comfortable chair after surgery. The chair I needed was in stock and delivered the same day of purchase. Thank you Harj and RK furniture!

The final results are ALWAYS better than I could have imagined! I cannot express the exquisite joy that comes with living in a space that reflects my personal taste, hopes, and dreams so beautifully back to me.

She is proficient, has knowledge of her products, never presuring to make a sale but takes time to evaluate her customer's needs, and is efficient to offer solutions and recommendations to meet those needs rather than just push to make a sale. Was very pleasantly surprised to find we could order a couch almost custom made to fit our very unique space. The couch is beautiful, comfortable and very well made. The whole shopping experience was great. We worked with Harj who was extremely helpful.
