Rona hardware store located on the east side of Markham next to Markville Mall. You will find all your hardware needs here, from carpentry to plumbing to electrical. Decent amount of parking, and they are next to HomeSense. Compare prices with Home Depot as some products will be cheaper and some more expensive.

Went to Rona at Markham and Steels to buy a whirlpool water softener on sale $599 good price went to install it on the weekend and found the bypass valve was missing Contacted whirlpool monday morning There response " fill out the warranty and mail it in" and then we will see Called the store manager at Rona He actually took a bypass valve out of a water softener box and gave it to me Fantastic I can get the water running in my house again Nothing but help from all the people there to resolve my problem I will tell everyone about the service I received These people can not sell the other water softener until the receive the new part from whirlpool but they were looking for customer satisfaction Thanks to all who helped me Service does not get better than this !!

A totaly bad client experience at this store today.I have been a regular customer over 20 years and todays experience was a joke.I had been to purchase Windsor salt and was told it was unavailable.I can understand.I found a bag of salt outside as was suggested by the associate which was a 20 kg bag which was damaged and had only 8 kgs in it.I opted to have it and was sold by the weight.what a laugh! is this a grocery or a store?The managers were totaly unhelpful and wasted 15 mins of my time giving me all the excuses which would never be the policy of an organisation like Rona.Over and above the Manager's Dave and EMMA stood with folded arms and when asked whom do i address the matter to,was told call 1800 but it will be directed to me.in other words your wasting your time.Absolutely and subtley abnoxious.
I appreciate if managers dont be uppish and deliver better client experience particularly when they recognise the client is a senior and also politely request a service.
doesnt make me feel like visiting this store again which i used to regularly visit.

trying to get some garden supplies and material to fix outside railing. The store does offer advice but there is no column that I can buy at the store. The staff suggested to check it out online. I discovered Craftsman brand there.

The Appliance Options And Information The Staff Member Provided Was Very Helpful.
