We tried this spot for the first time, and it hit the spot! The service was quick and the owner was very accommodating. As for the food, not only were they served almost right away, but everything we had was delicious! We had the shrimp & pork spring rolls and fried soft-shell crabs—both must haves! I had the special combo pho for my entrée and I tore that UP! Their milk tea drinks were also delectable and just the right sweetness. We can’t wait to come back soon and try other dishes!

My boyfriend and I come here at least once a month- If not more. It’s a very cute, clean family owned restaurant with very fast service. The pho here is amazing. The broth is especially delicious, and of course you also get plenty of bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and lime. They make a homemade spicy chilli sauce which is tasty!! The Prices are very reasonable - you get a lot. highly recommend this place!

The food was all so fresh and flavorful, most authentic Vietnamese food I’ve had. Everything is so clean and pure, even the fried food felt light. We ordered the shrimp egg rolls to start, they were perfectly crispy and the filling had the perfect amount of peppercorns to add another layer of flavor and texture. The Pho broth was perfectly made, I was able to appreciate the pure and flavorful ingredients down to the bottom of the bowl, which I feel is very rare with most pho I’ve had other places. The shrimp ban mi was so fresh. Definitely recommend. (Also ask for the chili oil! It has garlic, lemon grass & ginger really goes so well with pretty much everything)

Our appetizer, the Grilled Chili Oil Cuttlefish, was tender and perfectly seasoned. The Grilled Beef Wrap in Betel Leaf was as authentic as it gets, with rice paper and fresh ingredients to wrap and dip in their fish sauce. I had not seen Sizzling Ribeye Steak, Eggs and Viet Sausage on a Vietnamese menu before, but it’s supposed to be a popular breakfast dish in Vietnam. It came with tasty bread to pair with it.

The service here was excellent! When we asked about the menu, the waitress said everything was delicious. The manager, overhearing this, gently reminded her that preferences vary and then explained the dishes in detail. The owner mentioned that everything's made to order, which was surprising given how fast the food came out. He also said that no MSG is used, which was also surprising since the flavors were mouthwatering. The location is a bit out of the way from downtown Chicago, but worth the trip!

The pictures don’t tell you how delicious this food is. I went for Mother’s Day after seeing the pictures but what I ate was so delicious. My whole family has pegged this place as a regular spot. It’s a mom and pop with fresh foods that they cook and eat as a family. The owner speaks to you and is down to Earth. My 7 year old who struggles at dinner was quiet for 95%of this meal. She had the steak Pho from the kids menu. We also ordered specialty drinks. She spoke to ask for bread and stood only after being so full she was ready to leave. The broth is cooked for hours. So delicious. We had the family style seafood for 4 adults. My son has nut allergies so he couldn’t eat two items.

A very unknown place that stays open later than most pho places in the area on Sundays. Great family run establishment more focused on quality and service rather than numbers thru the doors. Owner doesn't advertise much but if your in the area or out of the area ready for some delicious food and great service. Keep small businesses going. Show your support to these guys!!! Love the extensive menu items and fresh plates served with smiling faces!!! Congratulations Tasty House for being you!!!

We had an amazing dinner of spring rolls, tofu bahn mi, and steak pho. Everything had such depth of flavor and was freshly made. Service was also great! We’ll definitely be back

Delicious!! I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was phenomenal! It was missing the pork blood jelly, but it was still so delicious! We had the crispy pork egg rolls as an appetizer and they were so good, especially paired with their signature homemade chili oil!! Will be coming back for sure!
