We had our reunion dinner at Soup Resturant. The Abundance set is quite impressive, most dishes are beyond my expectation, which includes the yusheng, samsui chicken, Truffle Abalone Seafood Pot and soup. The only negative point is the Double Happiness Steamed Rice with Chinese Sausage & Olives. The rice is heavily influenced by the taste of olives, i think the resturant would have offered any type of basic fried rice, and the meal would have been perfect. If you dont like olives, you might want to ask for a item swap or soemthing. I literally ate only the lap chong inside the rice.

The service staff are prompt and environment is comfortable.

Walking by newly reopened Tea House at IMM and decided to try out. Tried steamed carrot cake, mushroom Cheong fun, Samsui chicken bun, samsui chicken earthen pot rice and a soup of day. Dishes all taste good without being too salty. Menu is quite extensive to return to taste other items again.

Pleasantly surprised by their hometown fried fish belly today. Fish is chunky and flavorful. Rest of the item is their usual standard..

Just want to say a big thank you to IMM Tea House by Soup Restaurant.
Scheduled 4.00pm to 5.30pm slot for Reunion Dinner 28th Jan. However due to unforeseen circumstance, we only arrived 5pm (i was with 3 elders, total age amounting to more than 200 years old). We were really glad the service crew were so kind and accommodating to let us have a table for the next time slot. The food was of course really good too!
We have always been fans of soup restaurant, and will definitely continue to support!

We haven't been to soup restaurant for a few years and we are not disappointed. The signature chicken is still great and all other food was delicious. Service was good too. It's definitely one of my favorite dining place. Well done guys!

The food tastes good but isn't hot as well and noticed it seems to be pre cooked n not heated up well enough. Just imagine food served in both claypot with holder and claypot is just warm n not boiling hot.. so what's the point of it. I wonder. Another thing is this type of food will not be able to attract customers to dive in as soup restaurants hold its name and the standard is up there as Chinese Style Restaurants. What I can say is the need to ensure the standard first. If not the customer of course will choose other places instead. Please do keep up the good work and ensure the name of Soup Restaurant stands at its standards.. till my next visit again.

First time trying the dim sum dishes at Tea House Soup Restaurant (IMM)
Came here because my son loves their crowd favorite Samsui ginger chicken and also wanted to have dim sum.
The flavor of the dim sum dishes failed to live up to the restaurant's standards! Food supposedly to be served piping hot was disappointing lukewarm at best! Century egg congee bland and lacking in flavour. Tofu although soft and silky was not served hot to my liking.
The only item that was served hot was the salted egg custard bun.
While the waitresses' service was adequate, it did little to compensate for the lackluster meal. They were polite and attentive, ensuring that our tea was refilled promptly and checking in on my table regularly. However, good service cannot mask the disappointment of the poorly executed food.

2nd time here but seems like food quality has dropped significantly within a 1 month span.

Ordered samsui chicken and olive rice both times, same sized portion also.
- Chicken: portion has gotten significantly smaller.
- olive rice: amazing and full of olive oil the 1st time we tried, 2nd time we ate few days ago barely had any olive oil, was just dry and quite tasteless tbh.
- ginseng pork soup: soup was overly bitter and pork was completely rock hard cannot be eaten at all

✨BE CAREFUL OF “FREE” FRIED FISH SKIN✨
When we sat down the staff immediately placed a bowl of fried fish skin and told us they were giving us taster for the fish skin. We didn’t touch as we dunno need pay or not.
Only when ask thne they say need pay for it. Wts! If you’re gna be putting food on the table pls be clear on whether you’re going to people for free or not and don’t mask it as taster to hopefully get more sales from such unethical tactics.
When I told staff dunwan coz I dun even eat fish staff also gave a Wts face lol…

Bad experience the 2nd time here.

Pls bring back previous chef and staff OR pls get your SOP and staff standards/restaurant practices in order
