This is a very nice, authentic Irish pub with reasonably priced good food. Around sunset on Friday the 13th, my friend and I were feeling chilly and wondering if it would be too cold to eat outside. Fortunately for us, we decided to go try it. We sat outside on the patio under a radiant heater and had an enjoyable dinner. We didn't feel at all chilly. The wines are very good and reasonably priced. Our meals were great. We plan to return again this week.

C'est un très bon pub irlandais très authentique qui sert de la bonne nourriture à des prix raisonnables. Vers le coucher du soleil le vendredi 13, mon amie et moi nous avions froids, et nous nous demandions s'il ferait trop froid pour manger dehors. Heureusement pour nous, nous avons décidé de l'essayer. Nous nous sommes assis dehors sur la terrasse sous un radiateur, et avons apprécié un bon dîner. Nous n'avions pas du tout froid. Les vins sont très bons et à des prix raisonnables. Nos repas étaient super. Nous prévoyons de revenir cette semaine. J'espére que la saison des repas sur le patio ne se terminera pas de sitôt.

We had moved my son to the area, and saw this restaurant near his apartment. We were excited to get some authentic Irish food. Did not disappoint, the restaurant is very tastefully decoratedwith a lot of dark wood, plenty of seating inside and outside, very nice bar upstairs and absolutely beautiful bar downstairs with a huge selection of alcohol. The service was great , very knowledgeable of the menu and personable, drinks, appetizers and food came out pretty quickly with our food being amazing, fresh and hot, beer and drinks were very cold. The server was very attentive with extras for our appetizer, and refills on our waters and drinks.Will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant and bar if you are in the Arlington or DC area.

My wife and I went here after our friend and realtor said that her band would be playing that night. The restaurant is very spacious and the decor looks great. It was very clean and polished as you will see from the pictures.

The food was good. It was fresh and seemed much more authentic than another Irish pub in old town Alexandria. The service staff was very attentive the whole time.

I highly recommend their potato and leek soup as shown in the pictures.

Probably my favorite experience I've ever had with restaurants or pubs, and I eat a lot! Amazing Irish meals and, hardy food and fills you up with reasonable price. The servers and bartenders were exceptionally great! Very friendly and had great recommendations for food to get. And I've never seen an owner so involved and proud of there own business, the owner seated us and bussed other tables and did work that a server would do. Great, strong drinks, and very comfortable atmosphere, with a great vibe. I'm only here for the week and have ate here four times already because of how amazing it is. Do yourself a favor and come on down.

The food is good, the staff are great, and the beer is cold and well-poured. On the night I came in they also had live music. A great place to stop by and sit at the bar or grab a table with friends.

We were passing through Washington DC from North Carolina and decided to stop by a pub, drink beer and try Irish food.
Everything was fast and perfect. The waitress was friendly, took our order quickly and was very friendly in answering our questions.
The food was brought very quickly, I didn’t want to look at the clock and check the time. The food is hot, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the portions are very large. Beer and cocktails were also excellent.
I'm sure that if I'm in those parts again, I'll definitely come here again.

Stumbled on this restaurant after attending services at Arlington. Excellent service, hot delicious food that came out so quickly. Friendly server Jack and thr owner were very attentive. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy their meal. Scotch eggs yummy, fish and chips yummy! Iced Irish coffee so good.

10/10 Food & Drinks. Whether you are looking for a beer, cocktail, or whiskey flight, you can find something to enjoy. The Smithwicks paired well with the Guinness Burger and the Celtic House Steak (comes with a whiskey cream sauce, yum). We finished off with more drinks for dessert and the Celtic Dream was the perfect sweet end note.

Our server was very sweet and knowledgeable and ensured we were taken care of when they had a full house on a Friday night. Highly recommend sitting downstairs, although there are different draft options depending on what is on tap upstairs.
