I ordered an electric fireplace from the home depot website and needed help with assembly. Home Depot connected me with Robert from Castro Services. The fireplace was built in less than an hour and works perfect!! Highly recommend Robert if you need help with assembly.

Went to Home Depot in Louisville CO. I asked them to price match a dishwasher.
I showed the quote from a showroom in the area with the pricing information and the business card of the sales person.
This was not enough for them. They asked me several times if I wrote the price on the printout and insisted for an "official quote" that does not have hand-writing. The dishwasher was $200 more expensive in Home Depot but they could deliver it a week sooner than the other place, so this was the reason to go there. At the end they said it was not a matchable product although it was the exact same product number.
I went back to the show room and ordered it from there. I can hand wash the dishes for one extra week. Home Depot lost a sale out of stupidity and greed.

Appliance delivery is unreliable and dishonest. In one case, they delivered a completely broken toilet. It was a total hassle to get it returned and replaced. Then my fridge died and I bought a new one. I took the afternoon off work to receive the delivery, but the driver never showed and never called. The order tracker said they attempted delivery. The customer "service" hotline told me to call back the next day to reschedule the delivery. Get it together Home Depot and contract with a better delivery company.

As a plumber, that works for a large plumbing company, we are encouraged to shop local supply houses. With that being said, I work the night shift. All the local supply house close around 4. This leaves me one option for after hours part runs. Home Depot. Thank goodness, they always have exactly what I need. Every time. If they don’t have it, it’s not because they don’t carry it. It’s because they just happen to be out of it. There are so many other products, I can always make something else work. I buy so much PVC from them it’s ridiculous. That and sprinkler parts. It never fails. Everytime we excavate, we hit a sprinkler line. Hah!

I always come here anytime I need to fill a new planter pot I just got, or whenever I need more paint or stain! I’m also grateful they’re one of the few stores that stay open past 8pm (even during covid!) in Boulder! The pictures below are just a couple of the many projects I’ve been able to accomplish due to their awesome paint and stain selection! I was able to stain and paint these matching side tables due to their products, as well as sand them down completely beforehand! Plus their employees are always very helpful ?
