I am very disturbed to learn that a previous model of my company has been put outside in the cold, right before the holidays with no family in the state of NC due to the fact that she was requesting days away from the shelter due to having death n her family! (not once but twice) within months apart, Tee loss her Grandmother (which Lauryn refused her to go and attend her grandmother service) and if she had went on to her grandmother funeral, (lauryn would have written her up) which would put her at risk of having somewhere to sleep while she transitions through her hard time that she is facing in life right now. Tee brother has recently passed away also as of last week and she requested time away from the house to spend with her family (in sc) which Lauryn also made the possible impossible once again! why does a person loosing love ones have to be punished becasue they are wanting time with their family to grieve?. I'm in utter disbelief that someone that is supposed to have a heart full of love, compassion and understanding could do such ugly things to another human. & to also learn that Kristin (the manager) was also behind the nonsense that took place in this (house that's not a home) is very much unprofessional and wrong in more ways than one! One night Tee was sitting in her car crying & grieving her grandmother & brother and she was given writes ups for sitting outside in her car. the rule was to not check in & go back to your car, Tee followed the rules and didn't check in and sat in her car to take a moment to gather herself and was still punished for sitting alone in her car! (this is disgusting)! I've worked with and around several homeless shelters and I've never witnessed such!.. Only God Sits high enough to look low. We all should treat people with respect no matter what your situation is in life. One day it could be you in the exact same situation. So be mindful how you treat others. It's a business. It sounds good at first but there's no love there. They would watch certain women kids,which maked it difficult to work. They did not support the cleaning business I've had since 2021, before I came there. I would have to leave work early to attend a meeting that barely lasted 5 minutes or and rush back before kerfew.I worked hard.I had steady income, and they suggested that I get a 9to5...for their Benefit.I overcame child support, w/o them. All my savings went towards consultations and applications for housing.I had a voucher but there is no affordable housing in York or elsewhere. (2 bedroom for $1000, impossible) They don't help you do anything, you do the work yourself and you let them know where you are.February 2024 my time was upand no where for me and my babies.But I know God and I let go. Yesterday,4/18/24 I realized no one has called me to pick up any mail.I went to check and left with a stack on my mail and they gave me other people's mail.Thats another thing ,they are not careful with others private information. I found that York Housing Authority mailed 2x to respond before I lost the opportunity.Another mail from Lancaster Housing Authority....
They were gonna call me to pick up my mail...yet never cared to.
I'm not making them money anymore, so they don't have to care.Even when the women in the house got sick with Covid...me and my children were at risk.They didn't bother to separate us and that's how everybody almost got sick. Using Jesus looks good but the first slave ship was designed behind that same name. There is no Real GOD in this business, and it will all fall soon.Ase
