We’ve been coming to Original Pancake House for almost 23 years! This location has been the one we’ve been using for the past 3 years. We all have our favorites on the menu and they are tried & true - we really like that home corner diner vibe. Clean, fast service - there are a lot of options on the menu and prices are good. This is not your foodie, gourmet type place - but a good comfort, classic breakfast. Ample seating, booths and tables.

Our favorites: French crepes (strawberry sauce is delicious!!) 49er pancakes and chocolate chip waffles, but there are lots of options. Make sure to check the specials - they offer some great deals. There is an early bird special and the price is fantastic!

This is “The Breakfast Spot” in Fort Lauderdale. The food is fresh and always served hot. I absolutely love the homemade squeezed orange juice and the delicious coffee. Everything here is top tier especially the service we receive from Jeff. He is always so thoughtful, making sure our coffee cups are full and plenty of condiment's. If you are looking for great food and excellence service, Original Pancake House is definitely the place.

1st time here, the place is huge and very clean!!

Geneve (?) was our server, she was extremely sweet and very polite. She had such a caring attitude and so much enthusiasm.

We ordered mainly off the breakfast menu, it was 830ish am.

The waffle was filled with fresh strawberries and bananas, she loved it! The pancakes had such great flavor, three of us ordered them. Love that they serve fresh avocado as most breakfast and lunch places do not. The over medium eggs were cooked perfectly.

Glad to see when we were leaving that our server was getting many tables; hope she made a lot!!

We will definitely be back next time in the area 😉

Eat your heart out IHOP, I think this place has better pancakes! I love you too IHOP but this place is your way cleaner, classier cousin, north of you on Federal Highway. The staff in particular my waitress Vanessa had a smile on her face the entire visit and was quick and attentive. The experience will cost you more though than a regular IHOP but they have Dutch babies and Granny Smith Apple pancakes so this place is a winner! In fact every single thing is slightly tastier, fresher, and served with a perfection that is noticeable if you are looking for it.

For a place with the name "Original Pancake House" they were the worst pancakes I ever saw or ate. They were not cake-like they were uncooked firm batter texture. They were gummy. I sent them back and the new ones were just as bad. I was leary of eating them but was hungry. They said it was because of the blueberries. It was not. The 3rd picture is how pancakes should look.

This is a great place for breakfast! It is very spacious, has a lot of seating, and has a great variety of food options. They had the impossible sausage, which was very exciting! Our server was really nice, and the service was pretty fast. I would come back here again and would recommend it.
