This Mexican restaurant does serve authentic Mexican food. I got the pambazo with chorizo, and the chorizo was so good, with a great portion. Also got chilaquiles verdes with birria, and it was delicious; the birria was not dry at all. I was just disappointed in their tamales; they were ok, but they were dry.

Unexpectedly delicious! The tortillas here are UNMATCHED. I got an Al Pastor taco and a chorizo quesadilla, both were fantastic. My friend got an enchilada plate and the bite I had was also fantastic. They have games for you to play at your table like chess and Loteria!! The horchata was the perfect touch too. I can't wait to go back. I didn't catch our server's name but he was very friendly and let us practice our Spanish.

I Like the handmade tortillas here. I tried the battleship taco which is your meat of choice with rice and beans in the taco. The rice was mushy and overcooked so it didn't have flavor and there was a small glob of beans. I couldn't say if it was good or bad. And a street taco carne asada, which was packed with meat, but it didn't have much flavor and i wish it came out hot. I also tried red tamale which had enchilada sauce type red sauce over it. I would have enjoyed it more without it smothered in sauce. The Pina and Jamaica aguas taste like their from a package. Not fresh..but still descent. The alambre was good. We loaded it up with sauces and onions at the condiment bar. The Birria tacos had great flavor and the consome was good. Just wish they were crispy and had that crispy cheesy skirt. Not my favorite..but still good. The salsa were great!
They had dominoes, Loteria, and checkers you can borrow and play at the table. You can buy the masa to make homemade tortillas at home. Flan, tres leches, and the michelada was tasty and dramatic and we enjoyed it. Customer service is great. So friendly and helpful when ordering. Great music, Plenty of parking. It's worth a try. I'll go back and try something else in the menu. They told me next time, to order a michelada and it would be in a mini blender and have ceviche! Heck Yaa! Haha

First time going to this hidden gem. Had family from Cali visiting and we all wanted authentic Mexican food. We read a few reviews and thought we’d give this place a try. We were not disappointed. They ground their corn in-house, which i thought was pretty damn cool. Some people may not appreciate this (it can be a bit gritty), but it reminded me of my grandmas cooking and I loved it! I got the chilaquiles with eggs and chicken, the tacos dorados, and an horchata… all amazing! Other family members got the enchiladas, quesabirria with consume, street tacos, and queso fundido. We shared a few bites of each other’s food and it was all so good. The decor was also a cool vibe. I’ll definitely be going back to try other items on their menu.

I love the immersive decor. The food was wonderfully presented. I’ve eaten many tostadas in town. This was my second favorite. Tortillas were beautiful and tasty. The nice lady who took my order understood what was gluten free. The enchilada green sauce was delicious.

Some possible improvements were noted. Tamales were mid. The salsa bar was pretty lack-luster. The pork (carnitas) was a little dry.

Él pozole sé me hizo sin mentir muy bueno y los tamales, yo la verdad me sentía como si estuviera en el momento de vuelta a cuando era chiquita y comía allá con mi familia en México y la verdad lo mejor de todo eran las salsas verdes que tenían no solo sabor si no que picaba. La verdad mis respetos y muchas gracias por la comida tan rica

They live up to their name as all their corn products (tortillas, chips) are homemade! Closest I've found to an authentic taste in Utah, I'm excited to try more on their menu. Ambiance is a fun mix between authentic and a hipster like vibe. The restaurant was clean and vibrant.

There is some room for improvement: some portion sizes were off. For example, with chips and salsa we were left with a half a basket of chips and no salsa. Not enough tortillas were given with the alambre. Rice and beans were 6/10, not much flavor.

Definitely worth coming back based on the quality of the corn products, portion sizes, and authentic flavors!
