My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night and we were so so happy with everything. The soups and sandwich were delicious and we loved the vibe. Robbie took our order and she is amazing!!! Great service and food 🙂

Service was really great but the food was so insanely bad. That was the worst broccoli cheddar soup I have ever had. Sadly we got two 32 oz tubs for our family of 4 and no one could eat it. The sandwiches we got were tolerable but also so so disappointing. I can’t speak for their other soups but that one was so bad that I can’t even get myself to try another kind. A $70 meal for terrible soup and mediocre sandwiches, (2 of which were just very flimsy grilled cheese) and we had to go ahead and make dinner anyway. So disappointing

You have to find the right blend of spices to make a delicious clam chowder, rather than raw flavor when clams are fresh. They use the absolute perfect blend.

Because I moved further away, I haven’t been here for 30 years. I took my boys today. We all agree that it was so delicious!! It was everything I remember and more!! We had the Chicken noodle and broccoli cheese with a grilled cheese and bacon. The manager let me try the creamy tomato and the split pea and ham. Everything was superb in taste, portion size and price! The creamy tomato is extremely flavorful; I had to get some to go! Must try! So glad I got back here! We’ll make the trip again, for sure!!! Thanks Soup Kitchen! Never change, please! You’re the best!

I always get take out here. A big variety. I have to say it's a bit overpriced, but when you're in a pinch, it works. Love the clam chowder. And they load you up with bread sticks.
OK, don't judge the picture. A happy husband got to it first. I got 4 different soups and paid $60.

Chicken soup is still as delicious as I remember, but the soup is now $15.00 a quart, which to me is a lot! I will only be going in when I am sick because it helps me with a cold....

The chowder is very thick, sloppy and not so tasty. And the side bread 🥖 is cold. The sandwiches that we got are nothing special and not so satisfying as well. The place is so outdated with broken chairs and tables.

Great local shop in Sugarhouse! The lunch specials are unbeatable. The soup is always fresh, and sandwiches tasty. Great decor and always a great place for lunch
